The technician Steve Was brilliant professional tidy and on time 5stars.

This is a review of the service received by this company when replacing my back door. I was kept up to date on estimated time of arrival of the engineer via a link provided by IG Door and he arrived within the indicated time frame. He took time to examine my old door and frame thoroughly and suggested that he replace not only the door, but also the threshold and sealing strips to ensure no repeat of previous issues. He did all this in a in a proficient and courteous manner. Overall, I cannot fault this service.

Rob arrived earlier than planned was very professional and quickly assessed the door problems. He explained what he was going to do and took off the old damaged door and replaced the new door. He sealed the threshold strip that the builder forgot to do and adjusted the door furniture to suit. Our new door opens and closes so much easier now. Rob explained the best way to lock the door and we no longer struggle to lock the door! Job done quickly and efficiently,he cleaned up afterwards and allowed us both to test the new door. Rob is a valuable asset to the IG Doors team. I wish more professional tradesmen were more like Rob. Would definitely recommend this company great communication and all round great service. Tom from IG doors did a fantastic job in helping me resolve a fitting issue with an IG door. Despite the door being out of warranty, Tom and his team were still happy to help me resolve the problem which saved me a lot in tradesmen call outs.

I had a defect with my front door and IG Doors replaced it FOC when I was outside of my warranty period. Great customer service, I was prompted of the engineers visit by a text message, the engineer (Roger) arrived on time and replaced the door in 30mins and did a great job. Thank you IG Doors.

I couldn’t recommend IG Doors enough! Even with the mix up on what door needed replaced ( from Taylor Wimpey side ). We found the funny side of it and I was so happy that it was Steve ( IG door technician )that came back and replaced it with ease. He was punctual, polite and very helpful. I asked him to have a quick look at our other door and he did it without hesitation and fixed it in seconds . He knows his stuff. Dougal the dog was delighted with a quick cuddle too ! Highly recommend IG Doors and Steve !

Our front door has a very small chip in the paintwork, probably as a result of a very impatient delivery person. So I telephoned IG and spoke with Amelia who was very helpful. Amelia suggested using a touch-up pen seeing as the paint chip was very small, and she sent me the pen as a gesture of goodwill. I am very happy with the service that Amelia provided and how professional and positive she was in dealing with the matter.

Good communication before and on the day. On time. Quick door replacement. Stephen M, the fitter, was friendly and efficient.

The booking was made for the 4/9/24 and I had a text the night before saying the engineer would be with me between 1200 to 1600hrs. I had a second text in the morning saying the engineer would be with me between 1330 and 1730hrs. He actually arrived at 1027hrs. Fortunately I was at home, but I may not have been. The installation went fine. There was a mark on one of the window cassettes which I thought was a crack (had loads of problems in the past with cracking of the cassettes). The engineer Roger assured me it was not a crack and touched up the blemish with a paint stick. Time will tell if it was indeed a crack!!

Our front door got very stiff and wouldn’t lock from the outside after only 4 years in the new build property but the warranty is only 2 years and 3 months. I found out from Barratts our door was IG, when I called them they were very helpful in explaining what the problem could, how to fix it and if this doesn’t work what part would work to fix it. They also answered the phone straight away which is great when you don’t have time to be on hold for ages! After receiving a quote for the part which was also fast on email, I called again as I was nervous to purchase an expensive door strip if it wasn’t going to fix the problem, I spoke to Amelia on the phone and she was so helpful she asked me to send her a video so she could double check this would work for me. Amelia then sent us the part as a gesture of good will and it had worked and our door now locks again. We are very happy with the service every time we have called the company and especially with Amelia, we also appreciate how fast the replies were and the delivery of the new part in an an urgent time when our door wasn’t locking properly thank you

Our new build front door has delaminated to both side edges “at the bottom”, along with the actual “bottom strip”, due to what seemingly appears to be water ingress. I contacted your customer services requesting at the very least a visit from your representative to understand what is possibly a manufacturing defect. I stated that I believe this to be a latent defect, only to be told I’m out of my 2 year warranty period… I have recently discovered that my neighbours are also experiencing the same latent defect on a new estate (The Fairways, Wilmslow), shall I go and letter drop every one who is still within their two year defects period and advise accordingly? It is shocking that there is no support, can I point out this was reported 9 months ago with emails on file.

Recently moved into a Redrow property. Unfortunately, the finish on the front door handle had been chipped quite heavily. Searched online to try and source a new identical handle without any success. Was then given the details of IG Doors who I contacted by email. Amelia Page dealt with this enquiry and has arranged for a replacement handle to be sent out. I find that nowadays in most companies sadly “customer care” is non existent. Amelia’s gesture was such a pleasant surprise and I cannot praise her enough for the service she has provided. Once the handle had been ordered Amelia emailed me with an update. Amelia is a credit to IG doors and if all their staff have the same caring attitude towards customers they deserve a big 5 * rating! Well Done Amelia

External door to garage is falling apart after just 3.5 years. This door has glassfibre faces with a timber core but water has wrotted the timber which has expanded at foot of door. Door construction should be guaranteed for 10 years but IG Doors say it out of warranty period. Do not buy IG Doors they are not fit for purpose.

The item got deliver quicker than I was expecting the customer service was outstanding and very helpful
