Here at NRC LTD have been using HS Direct health and safety portal system for some 12 years plus. And must say it the most advanced and professional and easy to use H & S portal I have used over the 40 years in this industry. I have had the pleasure of a Demo of the latest updated on the portal with Andy Hickman, And I must say that Andy was very helpful and professional in taking though the Demo process. I would highly recommend, HS Direct H&S system to anyone in the construction industry,

We had learned of HS Direct via their promoted link and seemingly endless 5* reviews - so decided to give them a go, and see what all the fuss was about! I let them know in the initial consultation that what we do is rather specific being in the anti terrorism security field. I was told this would require a custom H&S policy, and a bit more leg work on our end - which of course I was happy to carry out. We were also advised that if we were not 100% happy with the service, we would be entitled to a full refund - so what do we have to lose! After our intitial consultation, the H&S advisor began to draft our CUSTOM H&S policy for us. Once complete, the document was sub par to say the least - it was a completely generic document, not taking into account anything that I had told him in our previous conversation. The document itself was poorly formatted, with titles to sections on one page, and the body of text on the next. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect perfection - but for the money charged, and promises made - I expected a lot more than was delivered. Unhappy as we were with our new policy, I spoke to our initial contact who had promised a 100% refund should we be unhappy with the service. After a lot of chasing via phone and email... The conclusion was eventually drawn that they as a company DO NOT offer a refund for unhappy customers - despite saving initial emails saying as much. The "sales director" in charge, told me that as the policy was custom - we were not eligible for a refund. The same "custom" policy that didn't apply to us or what we do in the slightest. After alofty discussion, we were given a partial refund, and the promise of 3No. custom RAMS method statements, which expectedly never happened. I understand we are in the minority of people that are unhappy with the service that they have experienced - but I judge companies and those I work with in how they deal with matters when they go wrong. I would not trust HS Direct to "have my back" were anything to go wrong, and am appalled at the distinct lack of customer service and the lies told to get us to sign the dotted line. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Explained very clearly what we needed to do to create RAMS - I was a confused before how it worked but after the session today all has become clear and now it is not so daunting.

HS Direct made our SafeContractor assessment application so easy and straight forward that I would highly recommend Rod Mcleay and his team. Very personable and knowledgable Rob made the whole process painless and easy. We will definately be asking Rob and his team at HS Direct to help us when we renew our SafeContractor application next year.
