Julian Ward of HQ Mortgage & Finance recently acted for us on a remortgage of our property, which should have been straightforward. However, our lender was incompetent, pedantic and very slow. Nevertheless, Julian diligently persisted with the case and we eventually reached completion. I would point out that it was us that selected the lender, who was not one of HQ’s recommendations - so the issues with the lender were entirely of our own making! I would rate Julian as someone who is sensible and pragmatic, and was a pleasure to deal with.

We used Vikki Potter on 2 house purchase within the last 18 months. She is extremely knowledgeable, and straight talking, she helped us sort out issues before applying for a mortgage in principle, thoroughly looked over our l documents to make sure we were in the best position before submitting. She helped with advice on solicitors ( the solicitors she recommended were fab) advice on difficult buyers and just generally was a person to lean on during the stress of moving house on a tight deadline, all in all we got the sale through in 4 weeks from mortgage in principle being offered to day of completion, mainly down to Vikki’s help at chasing solicitors, chasing mortgage valuers and generally being at the top of her game. 5 star +
