I did just the basic check and got the result back in literally ten seconds,i did have a concern over a purchase and it showed up on the report.If you are going to spend a lot of money then this service in my opinion is vital.

NO COMEBACK when the car turns out to be stolen Trading Standards are looking into false advertising

I did this check on behalf of my grand-daughter who has a young family. Thank goodness I did! The HPI check results saved me from paying for (what would have been) a VERY expensive heap of junk. Don't go by a clean exterior and interior - get an HPI check on the condition of the workings of the car!

Great Service and gives Peace of Mind when purchasing a used vehicle from a private buyer. We would always recommend carrying out your own HPI check, this also gives you a report to keep with your car. If you do decide to sell it on, all the documentation is there to show the potential buyer.

Had to purchase a HPI check following using another service. They gave me a report of a fail but didn't give details. So went to HPI and saw the reason for the fail but the details were far more comprehensive on HPI and that allowed me to confidently go ahead with the purchase. I wasted £13 on the first check. Its better to pay a little more and get a full check. They even give you a valuation which helped me negotiate a lower price.

Bought a "3 test" package Used first and discovered vehicle was a "Code C" and walked away from the deal. It saved me a journey to look at a car that I would not have wanted. Second test is all clear. Off to take a look later today. We keep fingers crossed that this one is the one!
