I have found Goto Energy to be helpful and clear in their dealings with me. Their system is easy to use online, you are reminded each month to send a meter reading and then a new bill is produced so you always now exactly where you stand. I have just renewed with them due to the service I have received.
Avoid this lot! Poor customer service though out and regular increase in DD without any increased usage When I left they said I would be refunded over £100 this was more than the direct debut!! ..took an email to the ceo to get confirmation of refund which to date I have not yet received. Avoid like the plague !!! Like many others on here they increase DD payment even when usage has not increased ..we are bank rolling them Cheap trick really Edited after response from Go To… the direct debit was increased sooner than 3-6 months despite this being in the summer when usage had decreased.. away and chase yourselves .. this is rubbish you put up the DD then refuse a refund of excess credit even when this is double the amount on the debit …AVOID is my advice to everyone

Easy to understand system of costs of different tariffs. However more details could have been included on just what makes these fixed tariffs different from each other!
Goto have THE BEST customer service agent in VICTORIA EASTMAN. Very empathetic and helpful. Sadly Goto have recently increased their prices and reluctantly we have found cheaper elsewhere otherwise we would stay as billing, website and customer service is excellent.
Very pleasant call from GoTo today, with a clear presentation of the options available, resulting in a very simple tariff change.

Bad rate but best on offer from the market
Switching was easy. Unfortunately they put the prices up by too much but switching away was painless. I would return if they offered a competitive rate again.
The person I spoke to was very helpful and polite and dealt with my query efficiently.
