My 2 year old Dell laptop, rarely used, showed an error message of “Hard drive not installed”. The technician that came to my house turned it on, saw the error message and told me I’d need either a new hard drive or a new computer and quoted me prices for both. He did not attempt any investigation of the problem. I had a friend son look at it a week later and he rectified the problem in 5 minutes by physically opening the laptop up, unplugging and replugging the hard drive in and it worked immediately. Computer maintenance 101 I think. This company does not investigate issues appropriately and is only interested in trying to upsell you to something new. I would never recommend them. Chelsey my appointment was at 9.30 am in Brisbane, so I don’t know if you have access to information from the Brisbane office. I will try to all your team tomorrow seeing as you can’t find details.

Initial contact via phone was a pleasant experience with a receptionist who was polite, organised and helpful. My appointment time was arranged quickly and efficiently. The follow-up email spelled out the details agreed to. The IT specialst assigned to me was on-time, friendly, highly knowedgable and really listened to my IT issues. As a person who is not really IT savvy I found the technicain explained things in terms which I could easily understand. I felt very comfortable throughout the session. Overall, a most worthwhile session with all my IT issues being resolved. Will certainly use GEEKS 2U next time I need some IT assistance.

Geeks2U quoted a price for a screen repair and confirmed that price via text message before the appointment but when they arrived on site tried to raise the price citing a "quoting error". Clearly an attempt to ratchet their earn once they have you on the hook. Dodgy company that you should avoid.

Geeks2U were very helpful. Once the original query was resolved, Banner was happy to assist with other queries in a timely and clear manner.

They responded promptly after I asked for assistance, with a phone call direct to my mobile and were upfront with how much a call out would cost. I wanted a home visit which I was told could be arranged that same day if I wished and this was during the phone call after 2pm in the afternoon. However my preference was for next day and at a time convenient to me which was absolutely spot on - the technician arrived at my home shortly after the notified and agreed scheduled time. The technician was very efficient and completed what to me was a complex fix that I could never have achieved. My laptop is now up and running extremely satisfactorily and pricing was very reasonable for the work performed.

I will specifically request Damien should I require the services of Geeks2U again. Arrived on time and proved very knowledgeable. Happy to explain what was happening to a virtual novice. Highly recommended.

Don’t bother waste of time and money !! Said they could fix remotely but could not .. didn’t even try ,, hence he was parked on the side of the road when he called- take it to a computer shop I was told .. don’t bother

Joel arrived within the specified time and got straight to work. He revived my 10 year old PC that had "died". Joel did get it working again, but I think it's time for it to retire. In the time waiting for the PC to repair itself, Joel also fixed my laptop that had a few issues. I am pleased with the service that I received from Joel and Geeks2U
