Just wanted to leave a review to say how impressed I was with the quality of my sons belter 16 and how well designed the parts and geometry are for a children’s bike. My son is 3 and had a very heavy, awkward 14 inch wheel buzz lightyear bike from a “well known” bike supply chain which he really struggled to even get onto never mind ride it even after being competent on his balance bike. After literally 30 minutes on his first time riding the Belter 16 he was riding and pedalling by himself with little guidance and was able to pick the bike up, get on and off etc by himself due to the light weight. Very impressed with the overall quality of the bike and design. Thanks.

Customer service is as outstanding as their bikes are.

Best customer service I've experienced in the bike industry. My son broke his frame yesterday in an unfortunate crash (on the second day of our holiday) and after some quick email communication with Beccy we already have the free replacement order in our email inbox. Even better, we were able to request the shipment date to be set such that we can swap out the parts quickly after we get home!

Great customer service. Great bikes (Seeker 24 following a Belter 16 and then 20). The best kids bikes in the world. You can speak to a person, and a mechanic. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Thank you for a great experience again.

Great company, excellent customer service. They have already been extremely responsive and helpful through sales, and warranty. My daughter's derailleur broke, and they worked immediately to procure the necessary parts and get them to me asap. Couldn't be more pleased.

We were a huge fan of early rider bikes ever since my son's first classic balance bike, we own a balance bike and a belter paddle bike, so when it's time for his next bike we were so keen on getting the seeker 24". Different than before, there was no retailers stocking early rider bikes anymore(now I think I know exactly why), so we decided to order the bike directly from early rider website(Biggest mistake!) delivery came quite fast, we were all so excited to open it only to find it is only partly assembled, with both wheels and hand bar detached, you will have to install the clutch, the chains, the wheels and the hydraulic break by yourself, which is fine if it came with an instruction, but it didn't. I mean even Lego comes with instructions!!! Early Rider expect you have all the knowledge of that by yourself. We've also noticed that there are 3 long scratches on the frame, which we didn't think it was much of a problem by then, we decided to give it a try without any instructions anyway, but I was struggling on the clutch, so I decided to give their "workshop" a call. The guy who answered, had no idea how to help me, for a "workshop" staff, he should be able to guide me through over the phone, but he chose not to, instead he asked me to call "office". So I rang the "office" number, voicemail tells me to call a mobile number instead, a bit strange but I called anyway in desperation for getting help. A lady answered despite not been able to offer much help at all, but she's the only nice personal I came across in the entire company, not able to explain why there was no instruction with the bike, no digital instructions available, no youtube links on how to assemble, but at least she sounded that she actually care! Promised that we will get a call from their chef technician TOMORROW! My son was so letdown by this, so in the end I had to watch hours of youtube on how to install bikes in general to finally assemble it by myself without instruction, we took it out for a ride, within mins front wheel starts to make noises because of the break calipers are touching the disc as wheels spins, rang Early rider again, was advised to take the bike to a bike shop to reset pistons on the hydraulic break. We then took our brand new bike to a bike shop, turns out not only front break needs to reset, rare break also needed to be calibrated, gear changing was not smooth so they need to adjust that too, worst of all --front wheel was not balanced, some spikes were lose, they had to go over each and every spikes to tighten them all up, in the end it cost us £25 to get it into a perfect working order. As I Mentioned before, the frame also has some scratches out of the box, so it started to feel that this is a faulty product after all, so I contacted Early Rider for the third time, explained the situation to the them, the lady on the phone agreed that it was a very poor experience that we had, and for that reason she will escalate this matter to the management team and request compensation on our behalf. Finally had an email reply from their management team today, mentioning no words on how poorly the quality of their bike and aftersales services are, but implying that" more complex the bike is, the more tweaking it might need on assembly. " And because of the scratches on the bike, they cant accept return or replacement for it, despite the scratches were there out of the box and it was reported before riding it...... but instead they offered alternative--£50 as "goodwill" compensation. Which doesn't seems to have any goodwill in it, it feels rather like an insult given the bike cost £ 725 + additional £25 bike shop, not to mention the amount of trouble it brought to us and how big of a letdown that was. So I told them if your "goodwill" feels more like an insult then you should keep your insult to yourself alone with the £50. I don't need it. We will keep the bike but they will lose a loyal customer now.

Nothing comes close! Our daughter had this as a very special treat for this up and coming summer. As a family of riders there is nothing that compares on the market for a youngster wanting to progress. My daughter is not long turned 3 and has progressed from balance bike, to a 14” and now onto the seeker x16. Pulling the bike from the box made me excited…the workmanship and the style of the bike is perfect. She was just as excited as I was when she was gifted her new bike. The belt drive system keeps your child safe and clean from oil. And the free hub…..love it! It is nearly on a par with my hopes. As you can tell, long review but it fully deserves it. Great bit of kit, great customer service.

The Early Rider team are wonderful ! When I contacted them about replacing a cracked bike frame on our second hand Early Rider kids bike, we had bought a couple of years earlier, they very kindly replaced the frame, posted it to us, and included a spare belt chain as well. As well as producing high quality bikes, this is exceptional customer care. Thank you Early Rider.

Excellent bikes, excellent service. There isn't another range of kids bikes that even comes close. I was so impressed with the Seeker 14 that I brought a seeker 20 for my other child.

Beccy from Customer support has been brilliant, helping me find a part from an old model. You have two very happy customers, me and my daughter who is looking forward to getting on her belter 16.

Had trouble finding out what size Seeker my oldest daughter on four would fit, got help right away and the bike was send immediately and arrived the same evening on her birthday, even though it was supposed to arrive one week later. First try with pedals ever and she just managed right away without any help, we are so amazed what a bike can do and it’s beautiful too. Will clearly recommend Early Rider to my friends.

Great customer service. Spare parts (handelbar bolts) were not available on the swiss website. I had to order them in the UK via the support service. The treatment and shipping were very fast. I received the spare parts about 7 days later.

Impressive customer service, and fast delivery after ordering. Excellent bike. Less than 10 minutes to get it up and running out of the box, and there was an instant improvement in skills and confidence over his old bike. Its a proper bike, built perfectly to scale for kids.

I bought a 16 Belter for my 4 year old grandson, as he had grown out of his 14 Belter, which he loved. He previously learnt to ride on the ER wooden balance bike, which he still rides in the garden, even though he has been told that it is his sister’s bike now! Having set the seat height on the 16, he was off like a shot; no wobbles or hesitation. Apart from the engineering that has made this series of bikes so well balanced and easy for children to learn to ride, is the amazing lightness of the bike. When I took delivery at my doorstep and picked the box up I seriously thought that they had forgotten to put a bike in it! The only thing that I think is lacking is that the company has not had a kick stand or mudguards available. I know that one can find these elsewhere, but dedicated, in-house, purpose built items would be so much better and I think people would buy them. The bike is so good, it deserves them.
