DroneBase was very easy to work with and provided excellent photos and video for our commercial property. I would definitely use them again!

Easy to use and get paid. Got an alert that there was a new mission around me, and easily set up and appointment. Showed up to site took pictures, uploaded and was paid in three days.

For the last two years I have stated that if you are a Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot, you must give DroneBase a shot. I have never worked with such great people who are bound by a code of excellence.

Love the idea of being able to order drone pictures and footage online. The end product was fairly good. I found that communicating with Dronebase was challenging. They made me repeat my requests on a couple of occasions and obtaining the finished product was a little cumbersome Everything is controlled by some system that they use that needs some work .Also, they need to tell you right up front everything they need to finish the job. They waited until after they took the footage to ask me the information they utilized for the video when they could have asked me that information right up front or at least right after I placed the initial order. This cost us a day or 2 in the process. When you are trying to get an investment listing out to market as quick as possible, every moment counts.

I love the ability, and use of Dronebase, but the way to actually receive the jobs is a little cumbersome. I wish there was a way to ping certain pilots that are closer to the actual client then just a mass alert. Also I wish there was more transparency with potential job opportunities because there used to be 1 roof inspection every 2 weeks and now there hasn't been any for months with no mention to pilots in the area. There needs to be a list of all the jobs Dronebase offers for pilots and then what jobs that particular pilot is elligible to perform so pilots don't miss out on work.

I believe this is an awesome experience for beginners to get started in a business that takes much practice. I also believe there should be a tier rate for those who eventually get to a point that they would be considered next level.

Good training, precise mission objectives, great upload workflow, timely payments. Improvements would be to include pilot market fee in total. On a home inspection, after Dronebase and Quill fees you walk away with not much after insurance, travel and fuel costs. Many times it simply not worth the effort for fulltime pilots.

Consistently good results. Pilots take their job seriously and work hard to produce fantastic aerials.

Had a great experience doing client missions and Getty missions this past year. Payouts were good and immediate. However this summer things have changed. I haven’t received any client based missions like I would every 2-3 weeks. Not sure if it’s do the area I live or clients have found another company they go through. Getty missions were a great way to make side cash. Files that were uploaded were paid out the next day. This has also changed. It’s been 3 months since my last upload and DroneBase is not giving us a definite answer if our videos have passed or denied.

Great contact by the drone pilot due to weather (rain) to reschedule -- and provided helpful hints in ordering photos/videos. Much appreciated!

This is my first year using Drone Base and I love it. The platform is very user friendly. I get an alert when there is a job available in my area. Then, if I reply quickly enough, I schedule a convenient time for me as long as I complete the job within a few days. They set the pay, which is usually moderate, but not completely unfair. Right now it works well for me; Looking forward, I'll see how sustainable it will be in the future. The customer service is great. The instructions are clear and concise. They email and contact the pilots if there are any questions that may arise. Once the job is done and uploaded, they pay quickly. They are doing a great job!

Great drone shots of rural area commercial building.

Overall it started great but recently we have seen a decline in consistency and photo quality. Maybe assign same photographer per account or review assets before giving to customers. Photographer needs to follow requested instructions or call if unsure seems like its not being read.

Very easy way to make some extra cash. The process is streamlined and easy to navigate. I like the flexibility of picking which day I want to fly.

Fast pay is huge! There may be some opportunity around initial terminology used and customer inputed addresses, but overall great experience.

I’ve been flying with DroneBase for around a year now. The variety of missions is nice and you get a result from your shoots nearly instantly. I had some hiccups with some photo processing but their support was helpful and understanding to get everything figured out. Would recommend.

The pay is low, and the requirements were not exactly as spelled out. For a commercial real estate job, there was a requirement that it be less than 50% cloudy. I shot when all the weather forecasts and current conditions said cloud cover was at 37%, but I was still asked to do a re-shoot. I did the re-shoot, but since I had to shoot the job twice, I don't feel it was worth the compensation.
