Dronebase has been amazing. They’ve offered up online training in order to prepare me and give me work. It doesn’t get much easier than that. It’s tough starting your own drone services business, and having enough work to pay the bills. Nick Osgood, and his entire staff have been super supportive, and have given me lots of work over the last 2 years that I’ve been a Dronebase pilot. Best thing is the pay is within 24hours usually and most of the time even quicker. They have a great seamless system at Dronebase that works very well. Maybe one day they’ll hire me full time!!

Unreliable and quality of work is hit or miss every time. Have given them 30+ shoots over a couple years to change my opinion but they still fail to deliver consistent quality.

Very fun, lots of experience gained, and making money while doing it is always a great addition!

My order was very specific that the flight would be on a clear sunny day. The videos were all taken in heavy overcast conditions. He told the homeowner he was coming from far away and was held up in traffic. He should have looked at the forecast. The videos are not anything I would want to use.

The pictures turned out amazing and it was so easy to schedule the mission.

I would like to speak to someone on the phone about my multiple issues we have run into. The main one being that there is no phone number to speak to someone on the phone.

There needs to be some sort of reduced payment on top of the initial payout for having to go back to a location more than twice

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this company. Support is always prompt and very helpful. Payment is prompt, unlike other platforms who expect pilots to go 30 days without being paid. Proud to say this is my primary platform for missions.

I feel for what you have done it was truly worth it. Just one thing that i asked for wasn’t really done completely . That was I wanted a good long shot or video of River where my location is leading out to the ocean. This is what really needed to be emphasize as it’s for larger vessels the property that I’m selling as a marina Development. Quality was good , timing was very quick. Thank you I do plan on using your service again.

Great platform to get paid for flying and gain field experience but the team seems far removed from piloting as well as photography and put bottom line above pilots. Prepare to waste time doing missions and not get paid because they sent you the wrong information or to a sight you couldn’t access. Be prepared to fly at places where people aren’t expecting you nor respecting you. Be prepared for cut and paste emails that don’t address your questions and don’t expect to have questions answered promptly or effectively. It’s very frustrating at times and pay rates have decreased as the demand seemingly increases which makes me second guess flying for the company as there a lack of appreciation for the pilots. There is also no way to tell if they still used your work once submitted as they’ll tell you there was a problem, or the client changed their mind, or missed a deadline but your work is still associated with the job. Yet it remains the best platform to get paid, at least in my area.

The client expectations are almost always covered by the provided DroneBase shot list. The trainings prepared me for the mission. There were some nuances but they communicate and train very well. My biggest problem using DB is that not enough people use them in my area! Hopefully they'll get more recognition outside of the metroplexes.

Communication is the key to achieving success in this industry, especially when since we don't ever really get to meet each other face to face. A high level of Professionalism, Integrity, and communication makes Dronebase a pleasure to work for.

Good experience. I wish the missions instructions were a little clearer. The emails and the app don't seem to have the same details. They seem to making improvements. Would recommend giving them a try.

Communication is horrible. When working multiple projects things get mixed up. Needs to be more organized. Hate that you cannot speak to anyone.

Pilot experience is poor and inefficient which results in slower timeline to get assets to db clients and diminishes mission profit margin for pilots.
