I been working with DroneBase for more than two years now and since then the company has branched out and created new opportunities for pilots to make money doing what they love. I’ve been impressed by the amount of paid jobs that have come my way over the last two year. I’m looking forward to new opportunities and challenges this year.

I had to reschedule a couple times for unforeseen reasons but DB allowed me to easily reschedule without any snags. Got paid the same evening I submitted.

All jobs I have done for DroneBase have been great. I am quickly paid. The only issue I would love to see changed is higher paid jobs availability.

Pilot was in many of the pictures so I couldn't use them for my brochures.

Although I appreciate the work, i feel the rates you offer are insulting at times and dont cover the fuel needed to get there. On top of all that, u take our pennies earned and give it over to a money shark who holds on to my little pennies for a week dangling the money at a percentage if im really hungry and need MY hard earned money. Planning to stop using u in 2020 bcs of all this. If my review stops getting me business then I understand and after reading above, i will be ok.

Good communication prior mission. I would just like to have acknowledgement of photos receipt after downloading, and a message of approval or denial when a decision has been made instead of waiting for payment.

Very easy to follow instructions, overall experience with DroneBase was great. My advice to any pilot take your time, and read the instructions. If you have any questions, just ask the support team at DroneBase and they will help you.

Good to have an organization finding work in your area. Apps are friendly. Make sure to read everything in requests. Good service.

I've done more than a dozen missions with DroneBase and I can tell you from this experience: beware! They'll find any reason not to pay. They'll ask for reshoots even if you followed mission parameters. Their pricing is very poor, and while they do pay out fairly quickly, the pay is undercutting all of us pilots as a whole. They'll spam you with emails about uploading footage, etc. You'll have better luck (and better pay) going directly to clients and charging them a fair and reasonable amount. I will also add that they’ve requested missions that violate FAA guidelines, such as flying over schools, near airports, over busy intersections and so on. If you accept missions from DroneBase, make sure you are not in violation of FAA regs, since it seems they do not do their due diligence in this regard. If you've done the hard work of passing the 107, picking up a few good clients is a cinch. Flying for DroneBase cheapens our profession and will cause you many unnecessary headaches.

I think adding example pics of what is wanted was a great idea. The communication has gotten a lot better. I wish there were more missions that paid better.

The concept is fairly clear and simple. For the couple of missions I've done I was paid promptly, but I requested feedback anyway and my request was never answered.

I've done several jobs with DroneBase and have been very happy with the service. As long as you follow the instructions that they provide, they quickly issue payment. Missions requirements are clearly described and their email responses are quick. I'll continue flying with DroneBase as long as they'll have me!

Great people to work with. Great opportunity for pilots looking for extra money while gaining skills.

When needing aerial services I would use DroneBase, it's quick and efficient. No need to use any other sites.

I requested photos of two shopping centers. The quality of the images was subpar and I did not want to include these images in our marketing packages. There were several photos with shadows, Turnaround time on one of the projects was very quick. The second project was delayed by a week.

So far it’s been awesome! Pay could be higher but I understand they are doing most of the legwork. Pay fairy promptly and jobs are explained well. Also it’s easy to get ahold of someone if I have questions. Good way to get experience.

You need to redo the drone shot - i just sent an email earlier
