I have been a pilot for DroneBase for almost 3 years and had great success with this company. I highly recommend DroneBase.

These SPAMMERS sent me probably 50 emails. In the last few days Nonstop. Constantly. Day after day. I wouldn’t use their service even if it was free. I’d be afraid it would result in 1000 more emails. If you like getting constant emails use them.

Only issue I have with Dronebase is low compensation.

I am a new pilot for Drone Base. I think its a great business new. I have had good support for operations. I would certainly like more work as the weather improves.

They make it easy to get the job done. Also, they have training programs to help you grow. Work at your own pace and have fun doing it.

Good concept, bad execution. First the app will not even open on Android. I have Note10 plus and the app crashes immediately. It works on iPad or iPhone. Second, Good luck getting any jobs. The jobs notifications arrive in the email after midnight when a normal person is sleeping. Unless you hear the email when it arrives or by chance get up very early 2 or 3 am you might still be able to reserve it. Otherwise there is no chance. Also, yiu will not get many email job request anyway. I signed up for the service about two years ago. I probably got 20 emails with job request, but because jobs notifications arrive early in the night, I was only able to accept one job.

Very easy to work with and gives the pilot all info necessary to fly a safe and successful mission.

A good amount of drone missions become available in my area compared to similar companies. Also, has easy to understand instructions within missions guidelines. I did have a couple communication issues with getting conflicting information from different customer service reps on a few missions. However, overall a good experience.

DroneBase is great to work with and their staff is helpful. They pay on schedule once a job is complete. My only issue is that many of the jobs they request of me and over an hour away, not near my home city, in spite of the fact that I live in the second largest city in Michigan. The relatively low pay offered by DroneBase often doesn't make the long drive times worth it. I'm sure this would be different if DroneBase offered a lot of jobs in my hometown.

They are easy to work with and understand challenges we pilots face from time to time.

As a pilot, Dronebase is very easy to work with. Their mission requirements are simple and straightforward, and their support staff is very helpful when it comes to any sort of mission problems or uploading problems. I do like the new way the missions are pushed out, with the pilot rotation push, as it gives a chance to those of us that may be driving or sleeping when new client missions come along. I have three complaints. The first is that I seem to get missions sent to me at midnight or 1:00am. By the time I wake up, the mission is unavailable. The second is, even with missions coming at those times, I rarely get mission requests anymore. I've had gaps of three months between mission requests. This means that either there are few mission requests in my area for anybody, or that other pilots are getting all the requests before they trickle down to me, which the pilot rotation is supposed to solve. And finally, some of the missions I'm able to accept are within certain restricted air spaces that are not LAANC enabled, making it difficult to obtain FAA authorization before the flight time. A week lead time would be ideal.

I have used DroneBase for more than 20 missions. It is by far the quickest and easiest way to book and plan and receive payment for your drone jobs as an independent contractor pilot. First, they provide you with online education so that you have the required knowledge to fly various types of missions. In some cases, they will ask you to perform mock missions so that they can make sure that you have the required skill to perform a certain type of mission. Once you earn badges for missions and enter profile information you simply wait on job offers. Unlike other popular job services, you are not left to try and outbid other pilots for jobs. Each mission that you are offered has the exact shot list, the time frame, the acceptable weather conditions, the exact location, and the pay. If you want the mission, accept it and it is yours. The DroneBase support team is great also. They make sure you understand the mission. If any situation arises email them and they will advise you on what to do. I have shown up for a mission and the client has insisted on seeing proof of insurance. I contacted the support team and they had the forms to the client immediately. The payment is always quick and easy when you upload all of your required shots to their portal. It is rare that I would ever wait for more than an hour to be notified that I have been approved for payment into my Qwil account. I don't want to drag this out too long but now DroneBase has developed an app that will let you apply for a LAANC if necessary, pilot your DJI drone, and upload your assets. For me, DroneBase is the number 1 pilot network.
