The filter was purchased to replace a 17 year old Hayward. I feel this filter is comparable but at half the price of a Hayward. My only concern is it appears there are some micro cracks near the screw holes on top of the multivalve. Not sure if this is by design or not? No leaks but will keep an eye on it before the warranty expires.
Your customer service representatives dept. leaves much to be desired. you can't understand them the majority of the time. Their accent is so thick and disorienting that does nothing but infuriate customers. Not trying to be prejudicial but try to have knowledge of the English language. Also each CSR person I conversed with gave different answers to solutions of my problem. Your website is very confusing and deceptive. I would not recommend Doheny's to anyone. Stay away.
