The + • very good recipe for the main (beef wellington and pancetta/cabbage on the side) • consistant communication so I know where is my order and when it is expected. • really nice cooking instructions cards with pictures. • Good price. • No subscription needed. The - • disappointed by the dessert, a bit bland. ( rhubarb and vanilla cheesecake) • Would prefer to make my own wine sauce (as it used to be before) as the pre-made wine sauce was a big let down. • not much option for the wine so did not order any. Overall very nice and I will order again!

Delicious Railway Lamb curry and Ghee Basmati. Delivered right on time even with Christmas 3 days away. Easy to follow instructions and perfectly portioned out ready to add as we cooked. My husband and I really enjoy doing these together then enjoying a fantastic meal. We will definitely order this again. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all at The Cookaway

Awful. £38 for about £2 veg and 2 bags of mince that I had to give to next door's dog there were so many hard bits and skin in it. One chicken thigh to feed 4 people in the starter. The mushrooms I had instead of rice were delivered separately. What a waste of resources and the planet. Thank you for your reply, the only award the butcher would get from me would be most skin and gristle in 380g award. Awful.

Not sure if I like the Singapore laksa dish as it was too spicy for me but the ingredients were of excellent quality. If someone likes this type of food then yes, Cookaway is highly recommended

We booked the Sushi box for my Grandsons birthday. Very unfortunately,the day before the box arrived he felt poorly and was tested Covid positive.His parents did use the ingredients and were very pleased the was it was packed and said the ingredients were very generous.

Fabulous food. Wonderful piece of beef, with very high quality additional ingredients resulting in a perfect chateaubriand with a lovely bernaise sauce. Even provided dairy free ingredients for two of the four diners and called to check details before dispatching. I’m not an expert cook but instructions were good enough for me to successfully prepare an outstanding meal.

I thought I would be getting a kit prepared by a masterchef winner. However I was given generic ingredients that I could have purchased myself. Not impressed.

Very much recommended and will definitely use again.

Arrived on time and complete

Excellent on all counts: instructions very clear; results delicious; portions generous. The only negative was the number of plastic containers. Are there alternatives? Perhaps a twist of paper fir small quant of spices (think the salt in the original Smiths Crisps)

This is an excellent purchase. I really enjoyed the Cookaway live experience, really good fun to cook along with an expert chef really felt I learnt new skills while creating a really tasty dish. Great quality ingredients and well worth the money. I’d highly recommend this to anyone

The food was absolutely delicious, but there was an awful lot of work involved. I've tried many other recipe boxes, and for the price I would not have expected to make everything from scratch (2 hours work).
