Just ordered my second box. This one is from Nidhi Verma & included Dhaba Chicken, Jeera Matar Pulao, Punjabi Tadka Dal and mint raita and a chutney. It was absolutely brilliant. Clearly, the very competitive pricing reflects the fact that Cookaway send the ingredients (many ingredients like spices pre-measured) but you need to do the prep, cooking & washing up 😁 My five dishes took about 4 hours to prepare, cook & wash up in total. I really enjoy cooking and what I love about Cookaway is that they offer dishes I would not normally cook at home. The recipe cards take you through very clearly what you need to do and you work with really lovely ingredients. I love the educational & learning aspect of this. For me opening the Cookaway box is like finding a treasure trove of ingredients which really is fun. I will definitely order again and again. If you want 'ready to eat' dishes then there are lots of suppliers out there at both ends of the market. I use them too sometimes. But if you love cooking & are willing to put in the work Cookaway is a really great choice.

All the produce and ingredients were excellent quality and we thoroughly enjoyed each recipe (Italian). Simple to prep, really tasty!

So much choice to pick a meal from, we went for a Malaysian Chicken Rendang Curry for two. The ingredients were super fresh and packaged up really well and the instruction card was very clear and easy to follow. The meal itself was delicious and a huge portion, real value! Would highly recommend - it's great as a gift or to try something different at home :)

Thank you to the amazing Cookaway tea who ensured we were able to host a virtual Christmas event without a single hiccup. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail and team's willingness to go the extra mile. It didn't go unnoticed and was highly appreciated! The service end was impeccable, I only wish I'd found them sooner. And the food itself was sensational - a real Christmas treat! I'd highly recommend for cororate events and look forward to working with the Cookaway team again in the near future.

Fantastic! All the produce was if the highest quality. The paprika pot had burst and one of the oranges was off but apart from that we were very pleased. Thank you.

Very well packaged, lovely ingredients. Recipe cards easy to follow. Resulted in a very enjoyable meal.

Thought I was buying food to finish off at home but this involved preparing from scratch. I cook every night and have all the ingredients they sent me in the cupboard already. Took about three hours of cooking - and I didn't do it all. Was tasty yes, but wasn't an easy experience. Would buy as a gift for someone who doesn't cook.

Excellent food. Aunthentic Indian flavours. The recipes are simple to follow. Loved the packaging too. Would highly recommend.

It was a great success. The recipes were well laid out and easy to follow, the food itself delicious, and we all enjoyed the meal very much.

Overall much too much time spent in kitchen. Food was ok but vegetables not good, coating did not stay on. Had to go online to get instructions for one dish as they were not sent. Value good.

Given a voucher for Xmas by my son. Box arrived beautifully packed by cookway. Such fun to unpack. I chose Japanese because its not something I'd normally attempt. Instructions very easy to follow and the meal was delicious. I will definitely be using Cookaway again. Something even more adventurous next time.

The least good value and the most bland of the fresh prepare company recipes I’ve tried. All very nicely packaged but not a good advert for Veganism. Being a vegan doesn’t mean food has to be boring. Basically a shredded cabbage brocilli and some soba noodles. For £20 I could have got a tasty delivery from Wagamama. I’m normally very reluctant to leave negative reviews about anything but given the cost I felt a bit ripped off

Everything was fresh, well packed and arrived on time. I was just surprised and this is my own fault, that all ingredients were as close to basic as I thought I would be ordering a pre assembled meals and had not factored the preparation time. And I always forget the garnish as we just wanted to tuck in. I forgot to garnish! I can see how useful a box like this would be, to be able to cook cuisines of the world without having bottles and bottles of sauces and spices to store. The flavours were delicious. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I learnt new recipes.
