Website easy to order from, great choice of menus. Was a present for a friend and she loved it, said portions were large, easy instructions to follow. Delivery was great, arrived day and time we were advised. Will definitely order again

The food was really good and authentic. I shared the meal with my son who has been to Malaysia a few times and he has eaten this street food. We loved it! Would highly recommend.
Did not really enjoy the recipe unfortunately. Rather heavy. Delivery service was good. And though much of the packaging was recyclable paper or card, there was still a fair amount of plastic. Inevitable I guess with this kind of single meal delivery. The meal was a gift from a friend - ok as far as these things go, but I won't be using again; just not my thing, really.
Simple to order, delivered on time, ingredients all fresh and meals enjoyable to make and delicious to taste.
Great service and delicious food
Im a first time user. I found the ordering process easy, the prices aren't excessive and delivey was swift. The packaging was effective as everything was secure and cold. The instructions were easy to follow and ensured that all food was ready at same time, extra cultural information was a nice touch. The food was delicious, high quality produce. I will definitely buy again and already have recommended to a few friends.
Great food and efficient service will use again
From order to delivery everything was smooth and easy. I really enjoyed cooking along with Chetna and the chance to ask questions too was great. I like how everything was measured out in little pots and the serving size was generous. I would definitely order from Cookaway again

Tried the Spanish tapas for two and wasn’t disappointed. Recipes were easy to follow and the food tasted great. Was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and looking forward to trying other boxes from around the world.
My kit hasn't arrived yet, it's now Sunday, was due Friday. so - can't review the food as I haven't got it! Update - issue was delivery company rather than cookaway, they apologised / tried to get it all sorted on the Monday and were really helpful. Food did arrive, tastes very good. Spice level (Indian food) was very good for us. Instructions very clear - I've fed back that it would be helpful to have an overall equipment list when ordering a multipart meal kit. So my kit needed 4 bowls, a food processor and a pestle and mortar plus scales / measuring spoons. Not complicated - just several dishes to make up. The hardest bit was threading stuff onto skewers without breaking the food. Would I try one again - yes, absolutely. Still trying to decide which one. Would I recommend it - yes, possibly not for a total novice. Though if you can follow instructions / have the equipment or can improvise, you can cook this. I'd happily try cooking this with interested children over 8, though I'd possibly do the frying. To be fair to cookaway - they were let down by a delivery company and a supplier, leading to the issue for me.
Great meal, a lot of fuffing about but the end result was very very nice. Had to do a number of tasks simultaneously, multitasking in cooking is not my strong point!! The fact the sauce was produced from the start not from a packet was also good.
I gave one of the meals as a birthday present for a friend. She was thrilled and said she would definitely recommend for others to use Cookaway. Simple and delicious!
Really very impressed with this. The chateubriand itself was a beautiful cut of meat - incredibly tender and absolutely delicious. The ingredients were clearly high quality and the portion size was substantial for two of us. Wholly recommend for a lovely date night. We thoroughly enjoyed both cooking and eating together.
All the ingredients were available to complete the cook. All the ingredients were fresh and the delivery was excellent. The steak was 1st class and we celebrated our birthdays . Thankyou .
When I ordered this the menu said it serves 2 to 3 people. I ordered the crispy chilli beef it came with one steak 244 grams for 2 to 3 people? Not sure this is right and paid 22 pounds for this with discount
We’ve now had four different meals from Cookaway all yummy. Very exciting when they arrive, all on time with clear instructions. Generous portions which stretch to a second meal the next day with a little extra to pad out. Would definitely recommend.
Was a date night delight! Had a great time and was really fun to make. If you like cooking you'll love this.
