The lamb kleftiko was delicious, especially the lamb itself. Clear instructions and easy to cook.

I ordered this meal as a present for my friends who have both been very poorly, & the feed back was the meal was lovely, there was even enough left for another meal the next day. They said it would be an ideal meal if you were hosting a dinner party, so it must of been good.
This enabled me to make a delicious meal of crispy beef and egg fried rice

Nice food but far too many steps for cooking. The sauce wasn't a great flavour and the steak was nice but not worth the money. It was a lot of cooking and clearing up effort for a steak that was ok. It hasn't made me want to have that meal again. The eggs were also broken, luckily I had eggs in the fridge or we couldn't have made the dinner.
Bought as a birthday gift, I was kept informed about delivery of email and delivery of the box. Lots of food enough fory son-in -law to cook and share with friends win win!!
Great Malaysian Street Market experience, my husband and I had fun creating the dishes with the fabulous ingredients. We received the box as a late Christmas present and we were really surprised with how generous the portions were. All really good quality ingredients and the recipes worked well. Delicious experience.

great quality ingredients, fantastic meat, lovely recipe cards. I guess my only slight reservation is that it's a little pricy considering that I still have to cook it all myself. But overall, very successful, especially as I'd never made bearnaise sauce before. I cooked it for my meat-loving 97 year old Mum and she loved it!
We had the biryani meal. I can thoroughly recommend this. Everything arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition – really good ingredients. The instructions were easy to follow and we made the most beautiful tasty, fresh and quite hot curry!

Lots of little spice pots in the meal I chose - Goan Chicken Xacuti - which I would not usually buy, so it was great way to try them. I thought putting it all together would tricky but just followed all the steps and there was a big “ta da” moment at the end! It was all delicious and we enjoyed every morsel. I could get addicted to the Masala Chai with milk and half a sugar per mug, oh my, the spice hit! And customer service were excellent in sorting out my problem with the order. A very good experience and I’m looking forward to trying the other offerings. Thank you.
I got this for my birthday and loved it! The package was exciting to open, the instructions were very clear and ultimately it tasted AMAZING! portions also very generous! Cant wait for another box
What a fantastic bundle . We had a great night making the variety of food listening to Greek music. The portions are great and we have more left for lunch . The feta and Greek yogurt is my new favourite dip .
Have previously reviewed as vital ingredients from a Christmas dinner mushroom wellington were missing (eg the actual pastry and a butternut squash) I have basically been called a liar. No refund. Just a discount on next order ! As if anyone would order again ?!
The Teriyaki Salmon and Hijiki Edamame Rice from the Japanese range was a very interesting meal. The nutritional content was superb and the salmon fillet was exquisite. My husband cooked and found the instructions most comprehensible and simple. I enjoyed the soundtrack whilst he chopped away. The delicate flavours were a delight and made the whole dining experience a very special one. We savoured the tastes and actually became quite mindful about what we were eating rather than a usual post work scoff. Thanks it was a real treat.
I’ve just enjoyed the Teryaki Salmon and Hijiki Rice. It was absolutely incredible and probably the best and most flavoursome meal that I have cooked at home. The instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the ingredients was first rate, especially the salmon. I can’t recommend Cookaway highly enough if you are looking for high quality home cooked dining experience.
