it was too fast in the first half hour & too slow in the second!! Chetna was cooking for her family of 4 & as she was informed many times, most of us were cooking for 2!! So there was a miss match.
Just to say that I had no problem with the ingredients. However the instructions were confusing. The product that I ordered said for 2/3 people. The recipe was for either 2 or 4 people. I weighed the chicken and technically it was for 3 people. So I thought to follow the 4 person recipe otherwise I would have wasted the chicken. On doing so, there wasn't enough ingredients for the 4. It was lucky that I had these ingredients in my cupboard otherwise the meal would have been a complete washout. I did email with feedback and was told that this was going to be fed back to the chef. I then received an email from a guy who I felt didn't address my concerns. I replied to this email and never got a reply back. Poor customer service. I honestly feel that this service is well overpriced. I'm sorry but I cannot see the appeal. If you don't like/not have time to cook there are some great companies out there that do all the work for you and voila!
The Japanese main dish was OK, but I wouldn't buy it again. The soup was tasteless. Overall, not a good experience.
Amazing experiance. The food was amazing and simple and easy to make. They give you plenty of ingredients for you to make and amazing meal! I would definatly go back to cookaway to try some more of there amazing expriences.
George was so helpful when spoke to him. Delivery efficient and on time, products, recipe cards and instructions were all packaged beautifully and made a fun lunch!
Good food, easy instructions. Would have liked an ingredient checklist but that didn’t spoil it. Only downside was my delivery - left in wrong street and I had to go collect it myself.
I really enjoyed cooking this meal. Instructions were clear and fairly accurate and the meal was very tasty and easily fed 3. 2 things to improve this recipe: 1. The chicken breasts could have been bigger (it was really 1.5 breasts) 2. The real cooking times for the cabbage/leek were at least double compared to the instructions (unless you wanted very undercooked veg!). But otherwise, I would recommend and will buy again.
Food very good but we could order what our voucher was intended for and had to pay another £5!
Food was good, recipes easy to follow. The one drawback is the portion sizes. We had the Greek Meze fir 2-3 people. But the amount of food that was sent, which was for 2, would actually serve 4-6 people.
Absolutely delighted with our Malaysian Might Market Feast! Our first Cookaway box! The quality was superb, the quantity was fab & it was easy to follow the recipes! Will definitely be repeating the experience
Discovered Cookaway thanks to being gifted a voucher. I was impressed with the choice on the website. It was hard to pick a menu, but went with the tapas feast. The quality and quantity of the food was fantastic. We’ll definitely be ordering from Cookaway again.

Fast and easy delivery. Delicious food although a lot of it - a meal for 2 lasted us 3 days!
Items were of good quality. I didn’t realise quite how much prep was involved. Delivery time was good. Unfortunately we didn’t get to cook the package due to unforeseen circumstances. But it did look great.
Enjoyed the food and learnt some new cookery skills. Felt overall the experience took too long 2 1/2 hours of prep and cooking (without being able to step away) with two people so felt like quite a big task overall. Would happily do another if took less time.
Requires some kitchen knowledge in making the pittas but the results were worth it!

Incredible flavours, premium ingredients and wonderful information included. It's unlike any takeaway I've had before and I've learned to make wonderful Indian food. It took time, so plan ahead, but our guests really enjoyed the Indian Street Food menu and they are hard to please! Would highly recommend.
