The customs clearing process is incredibly complicated and cumbersome, but working with Clearit was the first time I got answers to my questions and knew where I was in the process. Pricing was transparent and simple, I would definitely recommend them.

My overall experience using Clearit was very good. My first time importing anything and was having a hard time getting any customs broker on the phone. I filled out and uploaded what I could online but had many holes in my necessary paperwork. The clearit ‘team’ was very responsive and helpful and we got it all done in a week of e-mailing/messaging back and forth. Zero trouble crossing the border. Big thanks to the folks who helped me through the process!

I was very pleased with my interactions with Clearit. As someone who did not know what I was doing, the first interactions could have been more clear, but once I understood what was needed, things went like clockwork. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend and would use again.

The recent shipment I had was my 2nd shipment, the first shipment of the same product went smoothly and passed the Customs without any problem. Until I worked with Clearit. Clearit made us changed our commercial invoice. They asked us to change our commercial invoice, which our product become textile product to children’s product. This change caused the Border and Customs protection held our product. They have detained our product more than 2 months. They have cost us almost US$6,000 storage fee, US$800 exam fee, US$2500$ children’s product certification and laboratory fees. The effect of Clearit’s caused us so much financial damages not to mention the stresses and worries we’ve faced. It’s so frustrating that Clearit’s misunderstanding of the business caused us so much financial losses and moral distresses. Clearit didn’t care at all! They were communicating terribly. The phone number listed didn’t work, you can’t really call them and talk to them. Different person from Clearit can tell you something different than another person for the same situation. This was so frustrating and devastating specially for a small family business like ours. Clearit performance was not acceptable and not professional at all! Please run and avoid this company. Certainly we DO NOT recommend Clearit! We have lost almost 20 grand because of Clearit’s lack of understanding in the business. Don’t ever hire Clearit! Save your business and don’t ever work with them!

Absolut worst service , its all ok when things go good but when there is a mistake try and get hold of the people at Clearit , I waited 6 hours for a reply today , then when I got one it was not helpful and did not fix the problem, I reached out again , nothing , now because of there mistake i cant pick up my freight and im being charged 50 dollars a day , try calling there the published phone number to speak to someone , the number goes nowhere its not real. Stay away use a broker you can talk to

The communication has been terrible. So far we have paid more then $1500.00 in demurrage as the paperwork was not filed timely. We provided the documents weeks before the cargo left the port. We have numerous emails where we sent documents as well as asked if anything else was needed that went unanswered. We finally started getting an occasional email after posting on their Facebook page. I still don’t understand the issue, as we to this day cannot get them to call or to give answers. I suspect their email ticketing system is not linked to the work queues that the agents manage and the ball was dropped. This has been a very expensive and frustrating process and no explanation from the company along the way. Find a different agent if you don’t do this very often and know what to tell them to complete on your behalf. I understand things get messed up, as I own my own business. What I don’t understand or accept is a complete lack of communication. At this point we have found every email address for the company and place these in the “to” line just to get a response.

the process was great from start to finish
