I have never tried to import anything from China (or any other country before) and appreciated very much the format that Clearit uses and being able to communicate with them back and forth to be able to get the documentation right and help me ask the right questions of the manufacturer.

First time user and first time importer. I was expecting a very difficult process. Clearit USA made the entire process much easier than I envisioned. My only suggestion would be more "help" for first timers like me. Some of the language and terms are not familiar.

For my shipment, Clearit requested that I fill out a TSCA form. When I requested help with filling it out, they directed me to other parties. One of those parties was the EPA (which is the regulatory authority for the TSCA). I called the number that was on the Clearit Website. I filled out the form exactly as directed by the EPA. I submitted the form multiple days before my shipment arrived. Once my shipment arrived, Clearit informed me that the I filled out the TSCA form incorrectly. I was caught in the middle, because they wouldn't recognize the EPA's guidelines and the EPA cautioned me against filling out the form according to what Clearit wanted. I spent hours on my day off calling the EPA, CBP and other government agencies. I requested that Clearit do a 3 way call with the EPA so that we could get on the same page. They refused and said they don't communicate via phone. To avoid delays on my shipment, I finally left the form as directed by the EPA but checked the one box that Clearit demanded I check (Against the advice of the EPA). Even though I responded the same day, I was subjected to $390 in storage penalties for clearance delays. Clearit politely informed me that it was my fault because I didn't fill out the TSCA form correctly (Even though they had several days to review my documents). I have had almost 100 import/export shipments and never had any penalties. I've also never had such a negative experience with a customs broker. If you love communicating via chat only, and are comfortable with filling out forms against the advice of government regulatory authorities, I would recommend Clearit. Otherwise, I would encourage you to find a customs broker you can call and get help when it is urgent.

Once all the requested documents were uploaded, we got confirmation to clear out goods within 24 hrs. Thanks for the excellent service.

I stumbled over this company while searching for a freight forwarder to clear customs on a shipment I have landing soon from China. What a great find! This is an amazing solution for small companies like mine to deal with customs and importing issues. I saved over $300.00 on just one shipment by using Clearit instead of a traditional freight company. Love them and I will use them regularly now that I found them.

Fast and clear responses.

clearit is not my first option when i am searching for my custom clearance. The other agent wasted my time to ask necessary documents and finally they came back with one more document which i didn't. Then, i searched web and find out Clearit and tried . without any hassles, they cleared my goods and the team was responded well.

They were ultimately able to clear my shipment, but not without lots of stress and chaos. Not very helpful, and poor communication
