Gareth Sheldon - our account manager - was able to pull round some quick quotes and negotiations to some of our business critical systems. This needed done ASAP from an unexpected change in our business hierarchy. Gareth got this all sorted seamlessly and had good face-to-face discussions with what was happening along the way.

My experience with ChessICT has been outstanding. Especially our Account Manager, Gareth Roper. Works with no fault and always deals with our requests as a matter of urgency. Please to talk to and consult with. Offers more cost efficient solutions and keeps on top of the organisation of our assets (handsets and numbers). No issues, no faults, would 100% recommend to anyone.

We have known our Mobile Account Manager Gareth for a long time. Its just a breath of fresh air to deal with a real person who you have built up a relationship over many years. Problems are sorted quickly and efficiently.

My grandfather passed away in February - his business no longer exists. Chess are now chasing my grandmother who has dementia. They don't seem to have a very good system for bereavements. The advice from the customer service advisor was to log in to a dead person's account and act like we are them. More threatening letters continue to arrive through the post, with fines saying the contract cannot be cancelled. We will not be paying anything more, and we will soon be commencing legal proceedings against them. Horrible company.

Chess offer a great all round service for our phone and broadband at work. Their customer service is excellent, especially our account manager Alan Simpson. He is always available to help and does everything he can if we ever have a problem. The prices are fair and competetive from Chess and the system works perfectly. We have been using them for around 5 years now and would not change a thing.

Fairhaven Wholefoods - Chess ICT (Martin Cosgrove) has today installed our new Cloud voice system. We would thoruoghly recommend both Chess and Martin for the service that they provided in our migration from analogue to a digital cloud based voice system. It has been very smooth from beginning to end. Martin carried out the installation today and was very informative and provided us with the necessary information and training to get the maximum out of our new system. Many thanks to alll involved

I have finally managed to extricate our business from this company - their parting shot was to charge my last bill with a service charge for not having a direct debit set up - guess how the bill got paid ? Yes, by direct debit ! I am glad to be rid of such an aggressive insidious company that cares little for its customers and hires aggressive staff that are argumentative and seem to take pleasure in arguing with you. As my 30 days termination period was nearly up I called to ensure that I didnt need to do anything else - I wasnt taking any chances after they added additional services to my account and told me they could - as it was in my terms and conditions and it was my fault for not noticing this "dark web monitoring". The customer services advisor told me that no I was still on a rolling contract - that after I sent my termination letter they emailed me with other options and as I hadn't responded to that it meant my cancellation was not in place - I have no words ! The advisor argued "why would Chess send me an email if I hadn't wanted to keep the services open?" I argued that why would I have sent a termination request if I wanted to stay with the company ? They seriously tried to tell me that because they had sent our business an email in response to my termination letter that my notice of termination wasnt taken into account and wasnt binding and that I was still in contract. As I have no control over what they send, my notice to terminate was the last correspondence from me and therefore they will receive no more money from my business and beware any business that decides to get entangled with this hideous company. 7.5.2024 Thanks Ryan for your response - A member of your team did reach out to me and explain things, completely ignoring the issue in question - one that I had repeatedly asked about and raised several tickets for which have been ignored and were indeed ignored again on this instance. I wanted to know WHY I had been charged for a "non direct debit" service charge after having been on direct debit with you for years. You took the last payment by direct debit yet you still charged me a fee for not having one in place. The response from your team had nothing to do with that and didnt answer the question. They spoke about the dark web monitoring fees that were added to my account that I argued but not this parting additional fee that you decided to add on - despite taking that payment by Direct Debit. To be honest, I do not wish any further correspondence with you, I am glad to be rid of the company and don't need or want a response to this. If you needed to eek that one last little charge out of us, then fine, that is the cost of us doing business with you. I have no further interest in receiving any correspondence from you as a company.
