I only received four of the ten books I ordered. There wasn't a packing slip or any correspondence in the box. I tried calling but it was after business hours so I emailed the help center and have not received a reply yet - it has been almost 24 hours. I was hoping to have the books for a baby shower next week. I have loved the service and books I've gotten in the past but I'm very disappointed this time.
Delivery was lengthy. One of the books wasn't received so I reached out and they informed me that they didn't have stock and issued a refund. Unsettling that communication didn't happen on its own and I would have just been out the money. Outside of that books are in great condition, and I can't wait to get reading them!
Excellent experience! I received 10 children's books for just over $40 including tax which was a great value! All books were brand new and exactly what I ordered. They came packaged well and ship time was just one week. I will be using Book Outlet for all book purchases from now on.
I purchase a lot of books from Book Outlet. About half of the time the boxes arrive re-sealed from the post office and sometimes pages/softcovers are bent. I also wish your system had an easy way of identifying books I've purchased already, as I've accidentally gotten myself 3 duplicates. That money would have been better spent on books I didn't have yet. I love the selection, and I appreciate the way the system recommends books "for me".

I love this company! I placed my first order and received it within just over a week. Packaging is nice, and my books are in great shape. My hardcovers are a little bent on the corners since there was some room in my box for them to slide around, but it’s not major and does not bother me. Will absolutely be ordering more books in the future. I would suggest possible adding packging paler to fill the gaps for those who do care about their hardcovers being a little bent on the corners
I love the ability to get new books as such low prices but the shipping process is a whole different story. I placed my order ona Saturday and it took 2 weeks to get my order delivered which was more than 10 days. Maybe it was because I placed the order on a Saturday, I'm not sure. Since the prices are so low and the selection is great the shipping process won't deter me from shopping here again.
I've order before and have been very happy but unfortunately this time my experience was very disappointed. Many of the books were very used up and one of the books I had ordered was replaced for something else i did not request. The box also arrived open at the bottom so packaging was poorly done. Luckily no items had fallen out.
Books are in fantastic shape! The prices are incomparable! Only reason I did not give five stars is the shipping takes so long. In an instant gratification/Amazon Prime 2 day world, waiting over two weeks for delivery feels like an eternity. The system on shipping status does not really update until your books have almost arrived.
My order was incomplete because the box was ruined in transfer. But the customer service was TOP NOTCH. I called and the lady who I talked to was so nice, and sent replacements for everything they had and refunded me for the ones they no longer did. Book Outlet is the absolute best.
