I received my latest order a few days ago. The books are great and in excellent condition. One book was missing, however. The Good Song: inspired by Under the Rainbow and It's a Wonderful World. Any chance I may yet be receiving that book as well? Thanks! Mike Staehler

First time ordering from this company. I usually buy used books on eBay and small local book stores. I purchased 4 books from Book Outlet. I'm very pleased with my purchases. Books look brand new. Nothing was wrong with them. I read other reviews about slow shipping but I did not experience that. It took about one week. I definitely will be ordering again!! Thanks!

I ordered 5-6 books at a great price. They arrived quickly and in great condition… until the delivery was left by my garage where my dog chewed through the box and the covers off two books. Sigh. Can’t won’t all I suppose! But, everything went splendidly up until delivery 😁.

This was my second order from Book Outlet, and I am a happy customer. Both times, I ordered several books in order to get free shipping. I think the threshold for free shipping is very reasonable, and the prices for the books themselves is phenomenal. Some of them have significant shelf wear or even dirt on their covers, but they are new unread books, and I'm okay with it. I also think the selection is surprisingly good; every visit to the site is a treasure hunt. I do think there is room for improvement in the packaging: it's a coin toss as to whether a book will arrive with a banged-up corner due to being loose in the cardboard shipping box. Perhaps try Powells' technique of shrink-wrapping the stack of books to a piece of cardboard first so they don't shift around in transit.

Love ordering from here, and prices are great. However, it does take forever to receive which is the downside. This time around the books were a bit damaged from the sloppy packaging.
Glad to have received the book I ordered. However, I wanted to give this book as a gift for someone and it has a big sharpie mark on the top of the book. Bummer. No way to get rid of the mark. Other than that, I was able to purchase it at a great price.
I was looking for a book but ended up buying three. I was really glad to find some books that had been on my wishlist at very good prices.
My order was missing two books and I still haven’t heard back from customer service to correct it.

Always love shopping with you for the prices, easy to navigate site, and massive selection! My only issue lately has been the condition in which my packages arrive. Ever since the boxes have been changed to the easy-open top, they’ve arrived with splitting seams and corners. No damage to books has resulted from this so far, only cosmetic, however the continued damage is concerning. I always recommend your site to fellow readers and am unsure if they have experienced the same issue, but any doubt in a service can sour someone on repeating their business.

My. Latest order has still not arrived
Shipping takes so long. Tracking is weird - difficult to really know the schedule & where package is in its journey. I have yet to receive a parcel that was not mangled. I’ve lost small books & bookmarks out of the holes & tares. I’ve received books missing pages - broken spines with loose pages. In addition I’ve tried numerous times to get positive results. One time I was required to prove things fell out through tears & holes. I’m still wondering how to accomplish this. Also I was required to return the damaged merchandise This I did - return postage was $30. When the books arrived I was then told that title was out of stock & you do not refund return postage or the cost of books So I am out twice. BTW this has happened 4 times. When the books arrive in good condition your prices cannot be beat. But the boxes are flimsy and the books are allowed to jiggle around during shipping. I know the brown paper once used was wasted but the books arrive in much better condition. I make these suggestions each time I receive a survey and NOT ONCE have I received a response or comments. The poor customer service runs rampant across the company.
