Marcin and team did a brilliant job moving an enormous number of boxes (books!) out of storage and into my new flat, together with my furniture ... which involved using a hoist to get the large sofa and bookshelf up to the top floor of the block and then over the balustrade, onto the balcony and into the living room! They were all so helpful and moved some pieces of furniture around at my request. Thank you - I'd definitely use Alexanders again.
Dimitar and his team helped us move from West London to Bucks. They were prompt, helpful and courteous and got us out and in in great time! Full packing service and storage for a month made everything really straightforward. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use Alexanders again.
Choosing Alexanders to organise our removal made what could have been a stressful experience, quite easy. I'd like to thank Tomasc and the team for moving us over last weekend. It was complicated move as we have moved to a much smaller rental house while we have building work done on our house. So a lot of stuff to storage and then rather too much stuff to the rented house which is in a tricky location. And it was very hot! The team were great - professional, knowledgeable, careful, courteous and cheerful throughout. They were fast but not hurried and we never felt hassled. We asked for the unpacking service which was both effective and a blessing as all those boxes just disappeared. We look forward to seeing the team again when we move back into our "new" house.

Alexanders packed up and stored all our ground floor furniture and contents while we had building works done. The whole process, from booking to re-delivery, was really efficient with a helpful and speedy team. In our 70s, we could not have managed the packing up and carrying of many heavy boxes of books for example, so it was a relief to see it done so quickly. Nothing was damaged. We felt the costs were very reasonable for the service we received.
I have used this company many times for both removal and storage. Their removal teams on the day are always friendly and efficient. Everything was packed well and the team listened to my requirements. I would always go back to Alexanders.
While the sales and assessment process was fine and the initial move out was also fine (or so we thought) the problems post moving into our new house were myriad. Firstly, getting a move in date confirmed was incredibly difficult as Alexanders staff didn’t respond to emails. On one occasion I chased 3 times. On the day itself, not only did the moving team damage our new house but a significant number of items were damaged and our beds reassembled incorrectly, such that they are damaged beyond repair. Claiming compensation for these wrongs was like getting blood from a stone. We pod well over the odds to use Alexanders, believing the hype that they were an outstanding removals company. If this service was outstanding then I don’t know what qualifies as poor service!
