I had done business with the Raw Food World for a few years and there were very nice people working there which encouraged me to recommend it to others as a source of healthy products. However, this last experience was horrendous. I live an horse away so before coming down for and order (since shipping is so expensive and no free shipping on big orders like just about every other company) I called to see if an item was in that I regularly purchased because it wasn't showing on the website. I did not want to make a trip if the product was not available since other items I might get at Raw Foods .I could get the equivalent elsewhere. I was told that there was no problem, the item was in stock. When we got to Raw foods, the item was in fact, not in stock. My friend wanted to pick up mainly some patches with b-12 but we discovered they had floc acid in them, not foliate which is what the body uses. They are not the same, and in fact folic acid is a chemical that uses up the foliate receptors making it harder for the body to use the foliate the body needs. I was surprised that this was something that raw foods did not know about or didn't care, and I became skeptical of other nutritional information it puts out. To her credit, one of the staff indicated she would try to ship for free, the item she had promised was in stocj when it came in, but later emailed me they were not going to restock the item. I suggested a few other alternatives too make up for the wasted trip, none of which were approved by Matt. Clearly the Raw Food world isn't interested in keeping regular customers if that necessitates caring about the customer. Having worked with customer service departments who do care in my role as an organisational consultant for a decade or so, I know the kind of customer service that is possible, and how much good customer service benefits companies through repeat business, referrals and reputation.
I just love waiting for all the wonderful stuff you guys have to offer arrive at my door!!!!!
My order was smooth, quick and no hassle. Overall, excellent.
I love the products that I purchase but shipping is very slow and most of the time there is something wrong with my shipment. Customer service is wonderful but I shouldn't have to call every time I get an order because something is missing.
Been doing business with this company for a long time and have had no regrets. I plan to continue for a long time. Will recommend them to anyone.
So far deliveries are very slow and quality is great. There is a recent pledge that customer service will be personally handled by the owner and will definitely improve. I believe him, but needs to be proven.
Although I haven't received my most recent order, ( I understand that Mr.Monarch is having problems within his company) I have nothing but good to say. The service has been good, and of course the products are excellent as well as the prices. I live in Canada and although our dollar is down, some things are still worth buying from there. I will continue to do so.
I have been buying from Raw Food World for a few years now, and I highly recommend it! I only purchase top quality organic food and healthy, non-toxic products for my family and greatly appreciate knowing that Matt cares as much about the products he provides as I do about what I buy! The products on this site are second to none, and prices are good, so it's stress free shopping from my perspective. I have lived in both Australia and Canada, and shipping is generally fast. Do yourself a favour and support Raw Food World!

Large and varied selection. Website navigation and shopping basket could be friendlier but pretty good as it is. The products are good and as described. Good Packaging but order processing is slow.
I placed an order over the phone messaging system. The next day I was contacted by someone over the phone to review and confirm my order.
Our order would have easily fit in an envelope, vs. a box stuffed with paper.

i have been a long time customer. cheap prices, great quality, great customer service. I have received a wrong order a couple of times and they immediately took action.
This is a really great company whose philosophy I admire and whose mission I believe in. I trust their products immensely as well which is why I take the trouble and incur the considerable shipping charges all the way to Singapore. However I am not entirely convinced of the logistics of their operations. Their orders, shipping and despatch department seems to be badly organised and run. The orders take a very long time to be despatched and the shipping times are awful... Often products are not available even though the online system will accept the order. I order from several companies based in the US and Raw Food World has the highest (by a very wide margin) shipping charges and the worst handling of orders and shipping times. The picture does not add up.... I have stuck with them because I really believe in the intrinsic philosophy of the company and I admire what Matt and Angela stand for. But you cannot live in Ecuador and have your entire organisation run out off the US and remain unaware of what your people are doing there. That is unfair on your loyal customers. I know Matt does not like to travel much and leave the pristine setting of Ecuador and I do understand that. I'd love to be able to do that too. However, if you are running a company which is the basis of your livelihood and which is also what your consumers are depending upon for critical products to support their lifestyle, then you have to marry your responsibility on that front with your desire to live the kind of lifestyle you love best. I know Matt is now spending time in the US and has realised that the warehouse was not being run well, but I'm not sure what it will be like once he returns to Ecuador. In summary, a really great company with an inspiring ethos, but one which is operationally wanting in the logistics area. If they are able to correct that, there will be no looking back. I don't expect them to run with Amazon or iherb like efficiency, because that often dehumanises the whole culture, but I do expect them to do much better.
I absolutely love Matt's personal touch and service. At first I was thinking that the shipping was a bit pricey, but now with free samples being shipping with my orders-no way, it's worth it. I don't waste money trying full size products. Also, love his vid bits. I feel like he is honest and wouldn't cheat me. He wants to share the good news of good health and I appreciate that.
i love the raw foods world website. the products the information the news shared and how matt describes his experience not only with himself but his family for products used. i feel like I'm apart of the journey with them and it feels much more personal then ordering it from another source.
