In The Swim was founded in 1982 by a husband and wife team. Shipping chlorine from the back of their garage and taking orders on their front porch, they began to have a vision that this could be something big. As the quantities of their orders increased, so did the loyalty of their customers. Before long, In The Swim relocated to a larger facility and hired their first employees to answer the phone. As In The Swim’s customers grew in number, so did the product selection. The one constant factor of In The Swim’s growth has been maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction through its dedication to quality products at the best possible prices and its commitment to the highest level of customer service.
The product was great, however my son had to wait for months for the order. I understand that things go out of stock, however ever I never received any kind of notice and when I called they would say thay had NO WAY of finding out what was going on with my order until I would try to cancel. Suddenly they somehow could find out if iy was out of stock. The first few times I would be promised another delivery date until the last time I called. As soon as she could suddenly find a way to check stock after she told me she had no way of doing so. She was at least honest enough to tell me that she couldn't give me a new delivery date. She did however offer to cancel the order. At this point my son had already waited so long after checking the mail every day after school, said he wanted to wait another week like the woman suggested. The product was as advertised and he was very pleased with it. I however find that the company was extremely unreliable and tied up money for SEVERAL months when i could have just ordered elsewhere and received my product MUCH sooner. Therefore, if your order is time sensitive i would recommend you use another company if you don't already have an excellent business relationship with this one. This please remember is only my personal experience and yours may be very different.
Intheswim Was knowledgeable when i inquired about the weights of the solar blankets. In result, i ordered the perfect product. Love this blanket and would order again from intheswim
Ordered a solar cover. Received it was defective. Sent 5 pictures to S Wilkins and six emails no response.
I tried ordering from In the Swim this year for the first time. Never again! I ordered Dark Blue Pool paint. When I opened the paint to use it it was not dark at all, in fact it was light. I called them to return the unused portion of the order, which was 2 cans. They told me I would be charged a 20% restocking fee ($19) and I would have to pay to ship it back. I explained to the customer service rep that I would pay to ship it back to then if they would waive the restocking fee as a customer service since it was not correct. She said “no.” I also said even though the swatch and description do no match what was sent to me No luck! Talk about no customer service and rip off. That is this company! I will never order from them again. I advise you to do the same!

I HAVE ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY MANY TIMES, LINER, PUMP, CHEMICALS, THOUSAND OF DOLLARS OF ITEMS. I HAVE GOTTEN CHEMICAL THAT HAD LEAKED OUT AND NEVER CALL AND ASK FOR ANYTHING FROM THEM. WE ORDER 6 POOL LADDER ESCUTCHEON CLIP-ON WHITE AND ON THE LAST PACK MY HUSBAND OPEN IT HAD TO FEMALE CONNECTORS, NOT WHY FOR THAT TO WORK. I CALLED THEM WAS PUT ON HOLD AND THEN TOLD I NEED TO SEND A PICTURE TO HER EMAIL I GUESS TO PROOF OUT OF SIX. ONLY ONE WAS INCORRECT, IF I WAS TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR FREE, I WOULD HAVE ASK FOR TWO OF THEM -- YOU KNOW IT DOESN'T HAD UP NEED TO JUST THAT THEY SENT OUT WRONG. I ASK FOR SUPERVISOR, SHE TOLD ME I WOULD GET A VOICEMAIL, REALLY GOOD SERVICE???? I LEFT MESSAGE, EMAILED HER THE PICTURE AND WE WILL SEE IF THEY CONTACT ME AND REPLACE THE WRONG PART. I ALSO THAT HER I WOULD BE GLAD TO SEND THE WRONG ONE BACK TO THEM AT THEIR EXPENSE. NEEDLESS TO SAY AFTER THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT, THIS WAS A $14.00 PART THEY LOST MY BUSINESS OVER.

VERY SHADY COMPANY! NO free shipping.....they will charge you in the "HANDLING" FEE! They apply this in the end of the check out process after you add your credit card info. The guy on the phone said: "we are partnering with FedEx''...what the hell! What does FedEx do? Shipping, right! FALSE Advertising of Free shipping. Website says: 'handling MAY apply', Customer service says HANDLING ALWAYS Applies! Deceptive!
Went to their website to buy test chems. It gave me a price and shipping cost. AFTER I entered my personal information and credit card number they then mentioned an additional fee for handling (I looked for this info before I gave any personal information, but it was not offered or even mentioned). Not until they had already harvested my personal information and credit card number. Incredibly shady!

Their prices are generally fair but their "free" shipping (what they deceptively call handling charges) is not acceptable. Most people consider shipping and handling together. To advertise as free shipping then say there is a handling charge is nothing other than deceptive advertising. Just call it what it is and be honest. Will purchase elsewhere with real free shipping that ends up costing the same. Additionally for returns, though I did not check to be sure, I would imagine "handling" charges are not refundable with returns. Not good customer service.
Where do i start! So unbelievably ridiculous! I ordered a pump for my pool 2 weeks ago. It arrived on time, but was damaged. The top of the pump was cracked. I immediately reached out to customer service for resolution. I was told that with the approaching 4th of July holiday, they would get another out to me right away, foregoing the wait time for FedEx to come and pick up the damage product. Three days pass with no communication of a new tracking number for my item. I call again, and am told the "standard procedure", I tell them about the previous conversation. Once again I am placed on a hold and upon return, the "supervisor" allows the ability for immediate shipment, FedEx can pick up the damaged pump when they can, but ship the new one immediately. Again, no shipping or tracking. This now seems to be a systemic problem of the company, their business practice is to tell you whatever they want, but give zero resolution. I call a third time, this time getting directly to the "Supervisor" Tameka (tuh-ME-kah) who says it will be shipped and to my door by Saturday (tomorrow). She states that she might hear it from the "president" of the company because that's not normal protocol. She states that I will get tracking today, and if I don't receive it, call in again. Guess what? No tracking. I call, reach Tameka once more, and she says it is loaded on a truck and shipped. Great news! I ask for the tracking number. She states that she doesn't have it yet. If you are shipping something that is on a truck, a label with a number has been created. After now telling me that I would receive tracking tomorrow (not the pump) at the latest, and that i will have my pump by Tuesday (another timeline change, imagine that), I let her know my displeasure. Her customer service skills are to simply tell me that she will refund my order, and cancel the shipment. Funny, because once you give the package to the carrier, you cannot get it stopped. So that tells me that for the approximately 4th time in nearly 2 weeks that I was lied to yet again by this poor excuse for a company. Not to mention the fact that I have found the pump to be $80 less on other sites. Buyer beware, this company is beyond disreputable. My money will never be spent at this, nor a Leslie's Pool Supply again. Leslie's should have trained their acquisition to correctly provide customer service. NEVER AGAIN. Be aware that they are tied to other online pool distributors, so be aware!
Sold defective pool now will not stand behind warranty and won’t return money. Impossible to deal with. Do not buy from this company
I've been trying to sign up for lessons for my daughter for months but the instructors there keep giving me the run around. I don't know why they advertise for private lessons when they refuse to offer them.
False Advertising. They don't deliver in 1 Day. They lie. Ordered $1,200 worth of equipment and supplies on 06/03/19. I called them on 06/04/19 because some of the products didn't have a tracking number. Guy said he didn't know why they didn't ship because they were in stock. Those items that didn't ship were crucial to me because I was leaving town and my pump blew and needed replaced. He would not allow me to cancel the order because some of the items had shipped. I called back later and spoke with another CS agent and she stated that all items had now shipped and I could not cancel the order. On 06/05/19 I tracked the order again. All items show they did not even ship until 06/04/19 late in the afternoon after the CS agent lied about the products having already shipped. They refuse to refund my money, cancel the order or have the shipment returned.
worst pool supply company on the internet! better hope what you order is what you need, these people refuse to cancel an order for any reason no matter how soon you notify them, there internet cons! ...These people have to be the most un-ethical and dysfunctional pirates on the internet. I can't imagine anyone who would order from someone with reviews like these? There's other pool supply company's out there that offer great service's and products, save your self a lot of headaches and find one of them, you wont be sorry.
Worst customer service ever. Rude, unprofessional and clearly uncaring live chat. Coupons and promo codes do not work. Price online differ from catalogue.
Do not trust this supplier We have bought product from them directly for years only to find that these items can be bought for 40% less on eBay When we contacted the company about our most recent purchase they would not make it right said there was nothing they could do as a Customer Service professional this is just bad business
Bought pool shock used promo code with the code right on the screen and it kept saying code was wrong signed up for emails should be ten dollars off order for signing up nothing need to find out how to get off mailing list never again should have went to walmart
