In The Swim was founded in 1982 by a husband and wife team. Shipping chlorine from the back of their garage and taking orders on their front porch, they began to have a vision that this could be something big. As the quantities of their orders increased, so did the loyalty of their customers. Before long, In The Swim relocated to a larger facility and hired their first employees to answer the phone. As In The Swim’s customers grew in number, so did the product selection. The one constant factor of In The Swim’s growth has been maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction through its dedication to quality products at the best possible prices and its commitment to the highest level of customer service.
Do not buy from in the swim they do not honor their warranty
Excellent Product for a Great price
I think the owner does not care about this business and is on an island assuming all is well. however he will be surprised when the orders stop rolling in and the employees he has all quit due to POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...
Fast service good products!
great service for your needs for your pool.
I would give it a 0 star rating if that were possible. Nothing but promises, then no communications. Horrible company, do not use them. We received a bad pool cover. In order to produce the size we ordered they added to the width by spicing a strip. The strip came apart within a month. We provided them with everything they asked for. Almost a year later and we still don't have the replacement.
BEWARE! We once loved ordering from In The Swim but that has all changed. Last year we decided to go with a salt system in our inground pool and decided on the In The Swim branded system. Had a one year warranty and they supposedly sold the replacement generators. Well....one year and one week later the thing starts shooting water out of a huge crack that somehow formed. No biggie..we'll just order a replacement. Go online...yes they still claim to sell them...look in the catalog..yep..still claim to sell them. Call, chat, email with customer service and NOPE they don't sell them..but I'm free to start calling these random numbers to manufacturers to see if I can find one. Are you serious?? To top it all off my wife thought she was helping out by ordering a replacement online that was clearly marked "In The Swim Salt Generator Replacement Cells"...$400 and it apparently fits everything BUT the actual In The Swim system. We're done with them, we're done ordering through them for other people, and we're done with our recommendations. I don't know what happened to the company but it has gone down the crapper.
I purchased an above ground pool cleaner at the end of May 2019 and installed the middle of June after receiving. It Literally worked for less than a month. In the Swim Refuses to send me a postage paid UPS receipt to send back and stated I would have to pay to ship back for repairs. It would cost me the amount of the cleaner to ship back! What horrible customer service!!
In The Swim is the best our order is always correct and on time!
All items shipped quickly, were in good condition and all the parts were there, that should be the norm but now days it's not, but with In the swim it still is, and for the backyard do it yourself kind the products are easy to work with, definitely a lifetime customer!
Excellent customer service Very good products
Quick and convent shopping.
I knew the liner was not correct by the weight. A full 30 mil in 24ft would weight over 150Lbs. It was 75lbs. I measured the thickness with a calibrated digital caliper. It measured .014" (14mil). After many discussions with, In the Swim, they were apparently were unaware of the incorrectness of the specification. Be aware mil is a specific measurement. Gauge is not. Look for the shipping wt. Search,swimming-pool-liner-weights--thickness.html to determine what you are getting is correct from any online site.
items delivered quickly. Everything works well
I was in the market for 50lbs of chlorine. In the swim had the best deal. I must have clicked on the wrong item. They sent me 9lbs of Super multi tabs for $98.99. When I wanted 50lbs of chlorine for the $98.00. Called and explained but they basically said to bad. They have a no return policy. I will never use them again.
I bought a pool ladder and when I receved it the box was crushed and it only head four parts, two small plastic platform and two metal rails. The ladder was missing so I called customer service and they had me send a picture so I did. They were supposed to send another ladder and never did and never refunded the money.
I bought a 50 pound container of 3" chlorine tablets from Intheswim about a year or so ago. At least a third of them were broken when they arrived. I contacted customer service, they called me back when it was inconvenient for me and said they would contact me soon again. They never did. This was the first and last item that I have ever purchased from them.
I have been purchasing from In The Swim for several years now. Service has been great - any problems have been dealt with quickly, efficiently and to my satisfaction. Products are good quality and I will continue to purchase from them . Great selection and reasonable prices. In my opinion this is the best online Pool Products company!
Their refund policy sucks
Purchased Pool Pump on Amazon and pump is already making a whining noise.
