In The Swim was founded in 1982 by a husband and wife team. Shipping chlorine from the back of their garage and taking orders on their front porch, they began to have a vision that this could be something big. Was very easy to find what I wanted, order, pay and receive the pool steps. Loving the steps
Awful return policy. Purchased a fountain in good faith. It would not work with my pool. Pressure from my pump kept blowing out their plastic gaskets and adapter. They refused to accept a return and give me credit because "water has already run through it, voiding its new resalable state." Hog wash. It can be resold. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. $40 to lose a customer? Bad business decision and policy.
WARNING: IntheSwim has very poor / NO transactional security - your credit card information is at risk when purchasing from them. TWICE in two years now, my credit card information was stolen within 24 hours of making a purchase and used for unauthorized purchases. IntheSwim has done nothing to address their IT security. Once was a suspicious coincidence - twice is a pattern. I notified IntheSwim after the first instance and never heard back from anyone. They are going to hear me this time.

Your IT people Really need to "FIX" your site. Terrible experience's, I have had, Missed a 20% off and free shipping deal earlier, because your site was, "Crap" and time period closed! Then Called CS the next day and your phone system kept looping me around! Now last night it was same BS, again, on internet, your promo-code would not work , or do the calculation, and when I tried to call in number, they could not get it to work also, and told me to call CS, back today! I did just now and they had issues. They finally were able to process the order, Maybe you need someone like me a 28 year retired Army Solver. I will file them into a room and give them the day to fix it or hit the street and they can use their key punching little fingers, to social media for a new job!!! DM Cook
Received my order quickly and securely. Chlorine tab packets open completely to allow easy emptying into the skimmer. Very satisfied!
I have been a customer for around 5 years. I have been pleased with all purchases. On item - a solar cover - wore out after 2 seasons. After some discussion with In the Swim, they agreed to replaced it at no charge. When I needed parts for my filter this year, I did not even shop around - I just went straight to in the swim. Took way to long to get shipment and it Missed my nephew s birthday by a couple months.
This is my 2nd cover. The first I incorrectly ordered a way to small cover. The 2nd one we cut to fit perfectly. Lesson learned. Measure twice before ordering. I highly recommend this company & pool cover.

Was terrible. I ordered stairs for my pool late in the evening and called early the next morning to cancel the order because they couldn’t answer my questions about the stairs. The order was not processed but I was told I could not cancel the order once it was placed. Then I was told I had to accept the order and send it back myself and pay for the shipping. I spoke with two people and one was a supervisor. I was appalled at the customer service the two women I spoke with were not even nice. Needless to say I will not be ordering anything except maybe pool chemicals and only if I have too.
Deceptive advertising on products that are eligible for promo codes. In fact, items that are on sale are not eligible for the promo but, this is not stated anywhere within the website. Furthermore, the order page states that you are eligible for the $10 promo. When you contact customer service they are not very helpful and try to place the blame onto the customer for not knowing this deceptive sales practice?????

In the Swim is a great place to get supplies. I ordered different things and they came in different boxes, it would be nice if a order form was included in the box to let a person know if things were back ordered. Even though I purchased online and it didn't say it was. I had to call the company to find my order, but that experience was great too. Very friendly, and helpful. Thank you
