Awful - ordered a pack of 500 bricks of which at least 150 were sub-standard. They were so soft they just disintegrated into mush and powder. I have been contacting them since 13th April to discuss this but have been fobbed off every time. After numerous emails and phone calls (and being told it was being dealt with urgently) Ammaari Stones have not contacted me. I have videos to prove the shocking quality of the bricks. They have ripped me off badly and have extremely poor customer liaison and service. AVOID this company at all costs. UPDATE following Ammaari Reply. Amazing - denying my order! Please check again - Order 35851 with Ammaari Stones - I have the WorldPay Receipt email. I also have the emails I sent you on 13.04.2023 and 19.04.2023 - neither you replied to! I have made several phone calls and have kept notes. You really should do better!
Worst purchase experience of my life. Ordered 2 crates of porcelain outdoor tiles. They arrived looking in terrible condition. Once we began unpacking them, we notice many brocken ones, 16 in total. I took many photos and contacted the company. They said I either take a partial refund for 10 tiles, as you have to allow for 7.5 breakages. Like you would order broken windows for your house? Or buy a full crate. They were not prepared to split a crate, for a honest claim. Please AVOID at all cost!!!
Absolute disgrace of a company. Delivered a day late. 4 pallets of black sandstone left on the footpath in front of my drive after I’d boarded the drive so they could get a pallet truck on there. Had to split pallets and carry in to back garden in to the night while it was raining. Sent an email stating 5 broken slabs and approx 90% had marks on them with accompanying photographic evidence,, requesting advice. They replied asking for photos that I’d already sent. Then they wanted a photo of every single slab that had a mark on it,, still with no advice. I said that I would lay a few and try and scrub marks off which hasn’t worked. Rang them and spoke to a guy called Jamie with absolute terrible attitude, talking down to me as if I was stupid. Still waiting for a resolution after providing photographic evidence and quantity of poor product…. Avoid these cowboys like the plague. Just seen their reply. The resolution was that I would scrub the slabs with mortar acid and then seal. The slabs are not what they should have been but had to pay the patio. No offer of refund or a solution, and will now be taking to small claims court… avoid avoid avoid
We ordered some tiles and wanted an urgent delivery so we paid the extra £15 but wanted delivery on a Friday. The website only gave us the option of Thursday so we ordered and called Ammaari Stones the next day to get the delivery moved. Ammaari Stones confirmed that we can change the date and sent a revised invoice with Friday being the delivery date (I have this on email). On Thursday, whilst at work, I received a call from the driver saying that no one was in and he wanted to drop off the tiles. I told him to drop them on my drive but apparently (found this out at a later date) he refused to do the drop as our house was within a building site (new build estate). I then received an email from Ammaari Stones stating that there was a failed drop off and if I needed the slabs then I had to pay £57 extra to get them urgently or if I wanted to cancel the order then I would have to pay another £180 cancellation fee!!!! We called Ammaari Stones, as I had already paid for the slabs and needed them, and as none of this was my fault - they refused to back down on the payment and said if we wanted our slabs we would need to pay an extra £50! hummmm £50 plus the £15 delivery charge we had already paid equals £65 not the £57 (as per the email received)! Total rip off! I bet they are rubbing their hands as they are reading this. The tiles did eventually turn up and I must admit the quality was really good. The tiles were individually wrapped and no breakages. To finalise - would I use Ammaari Stones again? The answer would have to be no! Quality of the stones good but the service and extra money they conned out of us was ridiculous.
After checking my order of 64, 900x600 flags, I discovered 5 that were damaged. I contacted them to report this, but was informed that they allow for 7.5% of your order to be damaged. I have now checked your website and seen the 7.5% damage note, but I feel this needs to be made much clearer when placing an order, as customers need to add this to their calculations and costing. I am dissapointed at this. It actually means I have paid for 64 new slabs but only received 59. More importantly to me, I had calculated the area exactly, allowing the recommended 10% for cuts and wastage. This now leaves me less than 2.5% as over 7.5% are already damaged. This will leave me short for completion of the patio now. They do not offer replacements(or a refund)for the 7.5 % of flags they have delivered damaged.
Received my first order from Ammaari today . Arrived promptly and within time given . Very good quality product ,not one broken slab ! Buy far the best priced around almost beating costs by half price ! As a Mason I will be definitely recommending for my future clients . Thanks Ammaari!
Quality products with the best customer service. I wanted to change my order and also delivery date, Ammaari stayed on top of this and made sure I was happy. They even provided a window on the day. Driver was very helpful and went above and beyond the kerb side service. Highly recommend
HORRIBLE customer service. DANGEROUS!! - SHAME ON AMARI Delivery left in middle of kerb and road , in front of the neighbours drive ( not even fully on my drive ) BLOCKING absolutely everyone. Now not even my neighbour can use his drive. The delivery driver did not care for a cent, even when requested to move fully into the by drive/kerb. When called for support to the company, they said it’s standard practice to drop as it is and refused to help in any sort. The road is on a curve, and have already almost caused an accident. Today is Friday, and Now I have to wait for the builders to come next week . Until then I am not sure how many accidents can be cause by this. The neighbours are also shouting at us for this.!! .. AVOID IF YOU CAN, GO WITH A RELIABLE COMPANY.. The reply from Ammaari is simply shambolic and made up! My drive was completely empty ( and have space to park 2 cars in there ) , we requested the driver to move the the package fully to the kerb atleast, in fact the neighbours came and asked the same !! He simply Ignored our multiple request. This whole fiasco happened when my drive was completely empty -which can park two car ( so forget the space argument! ) The driver was arrogant and simply ignored us- so did the customer service on the immediate call by our neighbour and ourself’s. IT WAS NEVER AGREED TO LEAVE HALF ON THE KERB , HALF ON THE ROAD - Causing a such a nuisance and road hazard! SHAME ON AMARI- finally the neighbours came and moved the whole pallet, one packet at a time to the drive. Please Read your terms and condition yourself- it does not say kerb side ANYWHERE, it says delivery to site nominated by the customer, nearest to the accessible point on a good hard road! Either way - even if you say that this means kerb side, hope kerb side does not mean , leave it anywhere “we like” on the road blocking traffic , neighbours drive and hence endangering the entire public, Road safety and road traffic. Absolutely abysmal CS. You will return to move the pallet. Love to see that in reality!! Would have took the driver 5 seconds to simple move it fully to kerb!!
Would score them lower if possible. Attitude towards damaged slabs is ridiculous. After pointing out the need for the slabs as I have allowed for cuts (wastes) not damaged waste from delivery. They will only offer me monies. I said please send me more slabs over any monies to finish the job of the patio this was there reply....... Good afternoon, Sorry to hear of the damages received. We note you have received a total of 2.8m2 damaged. Our tolerance of 7.5% for damaged on paving equates to 2.32m2 on your order and therefore you have 0.48m2 damaged over tolerance. The tolerance is there as this is a natural product some wastage/unsuable pieces are to be expected. These can be utilised for your off cuts and corner cuts and is usually added on as extra when measuring the are. As we do not have any slabs to replace the 0.48m2 damaged over tolerance we will proceed to refund for this amount of £11. Kind regards, Hasan, Ammaari Stones Team. Really great company with excellent prices. Goods were delivered quickly with no problems at all, received text beforehand and the slabs are of great quality, highly recommend.
If there was 0 stars possible would have chosen this. Received damaged goods twice and companies attitude and response was disgusting and disappointing I’m taking legal action against them. They should be not trading. 33% of my ordered slabs were chipped. Just it seem in the reply the supplier is blaming me for the damage I ordered previously from the in and at the time 3 slabs came damaged and were not covered as they say in their terms and conditions 7.5% margin for damage. Seem like when I have done a little research they are supplying damaging goods to many of us. I am taking this further and ensuring they do not repeat this to other customers please contact me in my campaign against like like them. Again in their response you can see how unprofessional their team is. It also seems like they do not follow the consumers law section under the uk trading standards. I’m actually excited to start the process so their unprofessional company can get an inspection. Please contact me to take part together we stand stronger against like these. I will also actively find people online that want to join me but feel free to contact me.
I’ve brought bricks from these guys quite a few times. Always delivered quickly and decent price for the reclaimed bricks especially. 👍👍
The order was easy and the delivery was on time. The pallet fell apart as the delivery guy lifted them down (thankfully no harm done but given the last ones I had delivered from you fell off the lorry due to this you should re-look at you pallets.) Around 20 of the tiles have chips to the top of the stone which I haven’t bothered to try to argue as I know the standard response is that I need to check them immediately. Who does that? It’s is 1 tonne of tile to sort through, unbox and then leave open to the elements until my builder arrives? What a stupid policy. But worst of all the colour of the tiles is completely different. These kandla porcelain tiles have lots of different shade variations in them and previously we had them from different batches so I didn’t worry but these are distinctly blue. Far, far different than my previous ones. I stupidly thought the difference was because my older tiles were dirty (these tiles are impossible to clean.) but now they are down I realise what a huge mistake I have made. I am beyond devastated. I know I am to blame for some of this but I feel hugely let down by the quality of the product this time and the massive difference in colour. I just didn’t want to deal with customer services again after my last experience with them.
I was told that the delivery would definitely be able to be made onto my gravel driveway, I ordered based on this information from Ammaari. When the driver arrived he almost laughed at me and said 'they always do this, they take your money and don't care what happens on delivery. I then called customer services and they basically said 'all of our deliveries are curb side - we can't help now you've taken delivery' - so I had to get a local Hiab to come and move the stones onto the drive for me at a cost of £336. I have emailed Ammaari to ask for them to split this bill with me as a gesture of goodwill but no response. Very dissatisfied and certainly wouldn't use them again!
Have made 3 orders and never had an issue. Have had 4 pallets delivered that time around 18m2 each time and only ever 1 stone damaged. Never had an issue. Have got photos but don't know how to upload the finished product but yes looks good.
Product sold as calibrated and I do understand there is tolerance but is not really calibrated as there is huge variance between slabs . This makes laying it down very difficult and time consuming . Also don't bother paying extra for express delivery as they don't honour this , basically you are waiting your money and for ammarri stones it's normal for delivery to be late even you if you paid extra .
I have used Ammaari Stones on numerous occasions over the past couple of years as a landscaper with no problems. But when you do have an issue don't expect any help, 9 days to return an email but only after calling & being on the hold for 30 minutes. Poor quality product with even poorer customer service. They will come up with any excuse to get out of replacing damaged/broken slabs. I would give a zero star rating but that isn't an option!
Numerous stones arrived damaged and delivered late. Promised credit that’s never been paid.
The product itself is good. Not difficult to lay and it was my first time laying indian stone. I didn't get on with the customer service team. Feels a bit patronising, and they have an explanation/excuse for everything. First time order - They didn't fulfill the promise of AM delivery. I paid extra for AM delivery and they told me AM is until 12:30. Then they apologised about the driver not being here on time according to my clock's time. Second order - Yes I ordered again because Iike I said the product is good. The order was again late, but I got used to that.. Third order - After spending almost £1.5k, I thought I could get a discount. It's not their obligation but I was offered... £20. Wish I didn't ask for it lol. To sum up - If you are not bothered about customer service and only care about the product, go for it. That's what I've done although I learned the hard way because some things you can't change.
While other companies were slightly cheaper, they did not offer the 2 day delivery time that Ammaari delivered on. Slabs came well crated up. Very happy. Some notification of a delivery hour within the 10:00 to 18:00 window would make this reivew an easy 5 star rating.
