I had been thinking of getting Worthpoint for awhile to look up prices. I got sick and when I finally get online to use Worthpoint, I find out I need to upgrade my membership to see prices. Very disappointing.. I feel this membership is useless, as I refuse to pay more than the $19.99 Iam already paying. Very expensive for not being able to even see prices.. I immediately canceled my membership the same day it renewed. I would like my $19.99 back, as I will not be using this site again.. I never used it at all to begin with.. I feel this membership is deceitful and I feel they should warn you before they automatically renew and charge you $19.99 for a useless membership. I just read where legislation is trying to make this practice of setting ppl up for automatic renewal illegal.

In Nov 2021, I started a trial for 7 days or 7 lookups that was gonna turn into a monthly membership if I didn't cancel it. I always cancel the auto-renewal straight away after starting a trial because I know how easy it is to forget about it. I can always go back and activate it if I want it. So I cancelled it that day. Cut to May 30th, when I receive an e-mail that the payment for membership couldn't be processed. I thought it was weird since it had been 6 months since the trial and I haven't received any other e-mails from them in the meantime. I thought that it was an error or one of those scams with similar e-mail addresses and ignored it. On June 12th, I get a similar message so I go to my account and see that it is active and cancel it. I had used a debit card that I decided to stop using all together in May, so it didn't have any money on it so I was happy that the payment didn't go through. I get a cancellation confirmation e-mail. On Jun 25th, I receive another e-mail that my payment for the membership was declined. After the 2nd cancellation. Annoying, but since I didn't have any money on that card I didn't pursue the matter. Yesterday I decided to close the debit account I had used and looked throughy my transaction history to see if there were any suspicious activities. I find that I was charged for the membership every month since I started the trial: Nov 2021 to Apr 2022. I look at all the e-mails from Worthpoint and see that I have gotten no reminder about the membership or any monthly invoice until May, when it couldn't be processed. I called Worthpoint custumer service, but they refused to give me a refund because they said the cancellation wasn't really processed until June. I asked why they didn't send any invoices before the problem and they said that they only do it if there are issues. I'm thinking this is because they count on people not checking their transactions. I told them that I obviously thought it was cancelled since I didn't use my membership all these months and ask how is it my fault the cancellation didn't go through in November and how could I have known it didn't? They said there is nothing they can do for me. I wanted to see if this has happened to others and I find a lot of people saying the same thing. I wish I had googled it before I did the trial. They looked like a trustworthy website. I'm really disappointed since I would have gotten a membership when I was ready to start buying and selling art full-time. Reply to Worthpoint Team: I cancelled the subscription the day I made it, to avoid recurring charges. On my screen I saw a message telling me the cancellation was successful, or something like that. How could I have known that I needed to receive a cancellation email? There is nothing saying to expect it. For me, that is all I needed to think of the membership cancelled and not worry about the 7 days passing. I believe there is an error on your page when someone is trying to cancel. I did follow the steps explained in the welcome email. How is it my fault it wasn't canceled and that you are purposely not sending any e-mail regarding a current membership or any invoices? There was no reason to suspect that the cancellation didn't go through. It is obvious I cancelled the membership, even if you say it didn't go through, because I didn't take advantage of it. And the fact that you didn't send any e-mail in which you mentioned said membership during so many months makes it clear that you know there is a problem with the cancellation process and don't want people to notice something was wrong. The person I talked to on the phone said I went to the website 3 times in December and January combined. I went to your website before starting the trial too, all from google searches links. Sometimes it's just so I can see what the original signature of an artist looks like. I didn't use the membership the way it was meant to be used: going to your website and looking up things directly there. And that is because I thought I didn't have a membership! I received the invoices for the past months for the first time when I called in September. It was the first time I saw them and received them. I had asked for proof I had received them each month (so I would know the cancellation didn't go through), but I didn't receive this. You don't want people to know their subscription is ongoing so you can charge them. A refund to that card is of no use for me since it's expired/the account is closed. I cannot access it and this is why I was looking through all the payments made before that could happen. And a refund of 1 month out of the 6 paid is hardly enough anyway. I didn't know I would need proof of cancellation later on, otherwise I would have taken a screenshot or I wouldn't have even started a trial. I expect a full refund, on a card that works, to change my mind about your ethics in this regard.

Worthpoint has been an excellent information source for my reselling business for the past 10+ years. Well worth the monthly fee. Excellent customer service!

Today I signed up for Worthpoint because I wanted to see the price of one item, and then I immediately cancelled my subscription because I had no use of Worthpoint anyway. But then my bank account sent me a notification that I had paid 32.66 dollars, even though I had a free trial and I had only one lookup done. Care to explain this, Worthpoint? I expected to have a free trial, instead a paying for something..

Unfortunately there isn't anything less then one star to pick. I'm disgusted with the unprofessionalism of Worthpoint, more like Worthless. I tried the free trial 6-9-22 and cancelled within two days 6-11-22 via their website under "contact us" . Because their website didn't do anything I couldn't Google out look up on eBay because that's their main resource. A week later 6-17-22 they billed my account $25.99 with no authorization. I emailed them and they responded on 6-27-22 starting they needed my account info. Which I provided. I thought I was dealing with" Customer Care"that they pride themselves on and low and behold... BAM!! they take it upon themselves to steal another $25.99 on from my account on 7-17-22. I was floored. After several emails they responded via email and a call from a very rude representative and refunded me only one of the two unauthorized charges to my account. But if you admit to one charge, why not two? I have emailed them DAILY vs. calling because this way I have a paper trail of how much they don't have "Customer Care" and how unprofessional they are. I informed them I'm a disabled senior on a fixed income and they disregarded me like trash. I will continue on every forum possible and it'll cost then more than $25.99 Do but deal with this company!! Karma is a ....

The Worthpoint app is the best app I have ever used. It is well worth the monthly fee. Customer service is great and they always get the questions answered or the problem solved when you have an inquiry. They get a five star rating from me.

I signed up for a trial and asked 1 question. The answer I was given was something that I could have googled. I didn’t realize I had to cancel until I saw a bill questioned on my checking account. They had billed me for 7 months (I never asked another question) They would only refund me for the most recent upcoming charge. I have nothing good to say about their customer service.

This site is a perfect example of why you should NEVER sign up for a "free" subscription. Was unaware/ignorant of the automatic kick-in. I noticed 2 charges of $24.16. I will cancel tomorrow. This site is pretty much worthless. Never used it. Waste of 48.32. Stupid me!!

Hello, I was previously a costumer of Worthpoint and decided to cancel. I just want to point out two things, 1 - I actually missed the deadline to cancel my 1 year subsription and they refund 100% of my money hassle free. 2- I am getting ready to re suscribe, because I have found that I need/use the services they provided more than I realized.

I was trying to look up a ceramic item, as had no idea of value, and could only find one image on google, which Worthpoint said had a sale price. I paid for subscription, and logged in to Worthpoint, at which point it said it had no price for the item I'd looked at, and did I want to upgrade my account?? An absolute con. I have now cancelled, and advise people not to bother with this unreliable company. A complete waste of time.

Since Worthpoint is unwilling to cancel and causes me to dispute through my credit card company I will NOT use their service. There are to many other resource to be scammed.

Excellent service that gets you the value of items not currently posted on eBay or easily found with a Google search.

Feel well educated, secure excited to use site after my call with Katherine! I’d learned so much w Dr L, etc but I was not good at searching, wasn’t finding exact or atleast relevantly close info to post to my buyers. So I joined Worthpoint. I knew they had to be the best; that’s the “word” everywhere! After my call with Katherine who ever so patiently answered my questions putting me at ease. The pieces fit! I’m fired up ready to go!

I paid for a yearly subscription and have had nothing but issues. If you enter your password incorrectly twice it locks you out totally, tried to use the forgotten password link, which says there is an error and you have to contact customer support. The phone number doesn't connect (assuming its only for America) and after 5 emails to their support email, I still haven't received a reply. So Im paying for a service that they locked and wont allow me access to... seems very unethical and extremely dodgy. Once they have your money, they will not provide the most basic service by even replying to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

We contacted Worthpoint after finding them on the internet, with some questions about some collectables we have. Karm answered the phone and was able to answer every question we had. She explained herself very well.  And was very informative. I was very impressed with her, and very grateful. She's a valuable employee. Nowadays, more and more people have no pride in their jobs.  They don't care and don't want to be bothered. It's hard to find good employees anymore.  So I am very thankful that Karm took my call.
