My experience was quick and efficient. I searched for trip insurance and received confirmation of the completed task following a speedy transaction.

I'm marking Nomad down purely because it's been two days since I took out insurance with them and they've already hit me with two emails requesting feedback. I haven't even travelled yet, and I hope to not need to use the insurance when I do travel so what am I being asked to give feedback on, how good their service was when taking money from me? Should I need to make a claim, and their service is good, I will amend my review but for now, they've just annoyed me.

World Nomad travel insurance is the lowest priced options available compared to the others. We used them before but like all insurance companies, you may have to pay yourself first and get reimbursed later except for emergency evacuation which we never needed but is one of the options. We did get our money reimbursed when we had to cancel once . Tip: make sure you buy insurance within seven days of booking your trip if you have preexisting health conditions or it will not be covered. Do your research, read the fine print and hope you never need to use it.

Easy to buy online with clear policy offering and coverages. Policy and receipts are online via email and accessed through the World Nomad site

Very detailed and easy to understand instructions with a cheatsheet to help us while on the road. We've had minor inconveniences in the van, but no more than to be expected for a van of this age and nothing detrimental to our trip. We're less than 1 week into 5 weeks so far, though!

Have used world nomads many times but no longer. Told me false information and then didn’t help me in my time of need when stuck OS with family. Very disappointed and disgusted. Please read entire policy before buying. Even the most obvious inclusions are not included. Buyer beware.

The website is so easy to use and the coverage is very good. So many interesting articles on destinations, travel and safety tips etc.
