Attended the wine tasting on Saturday the 11th of November. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone interested in gaining further knowledge about wines, grape varieties , countries of origin and food pairings. Fantastic event with extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. A fabulous selection of wines available in this beautiful new addition to Athlone.

I have being buying wine at wines direct since 2019. I think their selection of wine is of good quality. I love their selection of Bordeaux wines. I find the staff very helpful and friendly.

It was an enjoyable experience to meet a welcoming and knowledgeable representative, who appears to really love wine and is happy to share his experience. There is a wide range of stock from which to choose, countries, regions and price.
I really enjoy going into wine’s direct to purchase a really nice bottle of wine, the sales people really have a great knowledge of the wine they are selling, I love the choice of all the organic and bio dynamic wines available.

We booked our wedding wine with Wines Direct and Ian and the team couldn't have been more helpful. A shortlist of wines were picked to match the menu and then Ian expertly went through each one during a tasting which was very informative. Although we left it late in the day to order the wine, they delivered the wine to the venue very promptly. Superb service and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for wine for an event or function.

We were in a Indian restaurant The silver oak in Athlone on Sunday and ordered some wine and it was lovely.I noticed it was supplied by "wines direct" I got on the net and ordered some.It arrived to my address on Monday ,it was home before us.I have bought wine from their shop in the Midland,this was the first time I ordered on line , very impressed John
