Buying obsolete components is so good.
Win Source has been an excellent source for difficult to get components. It is one the few Asian suppliers that give price and stock in their e-store. No dancing and waiting going backwards and forwards with RFQs. Sometimes components are cheaper at Win Source than from suppliers in the USA. Their communication is good and to the point. One negative point is the shipping is expensive especially when one or more lines are cancelled when orders are partially fulfilled.

I have used Winsource many times over the last year for ordering hard to source parts for prototype boards. I have had excellent results on both the parts that I received and on getting the parts in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Winsource for hard to get components with long lead times for prototype builds.
