In general I source parts for prototypes from Mouser, DigiKey, Farnell and the like, because their shipping times in Europe are crazy fast. Recently I ordered a smaller batch of hard to find diodes from win-source.net and found the whole process very smooth. I could pay by PayPal, the parts were shipped quickly and arrived here just fine. After reading a few other reviews I have to add that I was not affected by the "price increase after order validation" which others mention here in there reviews. I experienced this with other shops as well, but I don't think this is a "company strategy". It's just the severe shortage of certain parts right now which makes the higher prices possible, and prices of course change upwards as stock empties. I also don't like this procedure, but I can also understand the motivation of the shops to demand the money they can earn with their stocked parts.

they systematically ask for more money after order validation A few days after the order validation they systematically say that prices have changed, upwards of course, and therefore ask to pay more to receive the parts.

They say they have the part but that's not true

They canceled an order in order to charge a higher price. Placed an order and prepaid. They said the parts were "poorly packaged" and couldn't ship them, proposed raising the price. Then they raised the price again. Finally they canceled the order, proposing a new price 3X higher than the original. Would not go back there again.

Sometimes they can not keep the price shown in online-shop. It is confusing.

Simple to order. Fast and economical shipping. Well packed as described. Finding certain parts during the shortages is hard but winsource delivered.

WinSource is a good online electronic component supplier. However, the shipping takes a little longer compared to other providers, therefore a half star deduction. The prices are sometimes a bit high, therefore also a half star deduction. By and large, however, we are satisfied. Communication also works very well.

It is always a good experience with win sotce. We have been their customer for more than 20 years now. We always got genuine and original parts. I would certainly recommend people to source from them. They try to get difficult to get parts.

Outrageous treatment of customers! I purchased 300 x of an item 2 weeks ago. They took forever to reply on why my order still weren’t shipped to me. Finally they got back to me, and said they would cancel my order and return my money, because the item now do too demand had increased x5 in price. How can you treat a customer like this, I paid the market price at the time, it should not be my problem that the price goes up after I have paid. 0 stars
