Salesperson was very informative and had good knowledge. Took 2 cars for a test drive and ended up purchasing one of them. It was a good experience.

Drove all the way from Southend Essex to view 2 Teslas advertised on their website as available to be told we can't view them as the directors both have them for personal use. Was then told to come back on a week day when they are more likely to be around, which we can't do due to work. Slow hand clap to the Wilson directors concerned. You just lost a 57k sale.

I recently bought from the Hyundai dealership and the service from beginning to end was excellent. We were welcomed quickly and, despite not having a pre-booked appointment, I was able to view and test drive two cars within an hour of my arrival! The test drive itself was long enough to get a real feel for each car, and I was able to drive one straight after the other in order to compare them. All of the cars were spectacularly presented and well cared for. Joe was patient, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly polite, and supported me with deciding between two cars without any pushy sales pitches. I really appreciated the time he took to compare the two cars (even down to very fine details) to ensure I was making the right choice. Everything was explained clearly to me and the car was in perfect condition when I picked it up. My family have bought from Wilsons many times in the past, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Unfortunately I feel compelled to leave a bad review despite recieving for service initially. After buying a 22 plate Guilia , I had a warning light on the dash saying you check sidelight. After consulting a friend who is a mechanic he said there was condensation visible in the light and that it likely hadn't been sealed properly. Unfortunately, before the inspection at Wilson's, I returned to my car to see there was slight damage to bumper on the OPPOSITE side to the problem light, a small crack where someone had likely reversed out of a parking bay into it. I was told because of this they would not do it under warranty, despite me communicating at the check in that this had happened after the problem - which is very clearly due to visible condensation - had occurred. Subsequently I am having to claim on the insurance to get the work done. The fact that the damage was on the opposite side and the fact that I reported the issue before the indecent of the cracked bumper occured compels me to leave the negative review

What a pity I can't give no stars! Wrote the following to the manager of the service department; no response. Tried to request response copying on MD of Wilson's. Message bounced back. In my view these folk don't know what they are doing and hide when challenged. Don't touch with a barge pole! Dear Mr Belderson, I understand from your office that you are currently on leave and will be returning to work on 5th January. I am writing you this email in the hope that you will be able to address the issue outlined below upon your return. On 4th May 2022, I handed my car, a Hyundai Ioniq, in to your service centre. I explained that on three previous occasions, I went out to start the car only to discover that the battery was completely dead. Your staff took the car in to analyse it. I received a phone call to say that the car had been on test, that there were no drains on the battery and, therefore, the battery was at fault and needed changing. I asked if they were sure and what would happen, having replaced the battery, if the same problem persisted. I got no answer to this and your staff insisted that it was the battery. 7 Months later, I have gone out to start my car and have exactly the same problem. Clearly, the problem was not the battery as exchanging it did not rectify the problem. It is really important for me to have a car for work/travel which is reliable so I was very disappointed to discover that the problem had not been fixed by your service centre. I would like to hear how you suggest rectifying this situation and dealing with the unnecessary spend on a new battery. One quick look on the Internet shows this is not an uncommon problem, but I can't help feeling that I have been charged for fixing a problem which is still evident. Please can you get back to me at your earliest convenience so that I can plan my work accordingly. Yours sincerely, Tony Nelson
