Excellent service
I bought a brand new Renault Clio Techno Hybrid from Wilsons in January. The car has been making a high pitch whistling sound in 31 to 36 mph. It has been shown thrice to the dealer and the master technician has just concluded it is the normal noise for hybrids. I had gone on test drives with their sales director, sales executive and master technician. All of them acknowledged that the noise is present on my car but not on the top of the range Esprit Alpine trim. Both the cars have same powertrain and I was told at the time of sale that they would drive the same. But no explanation has been given why the noise is present in my car but not on Esprit Alpine Hybrid which was used as the demo car to place the order if it is a normal hybrid vehicle sound. I had requested to furnish technical explanation from Renault HQ technical team but no response. I have already emailed the Sales Director, Sales Executive and the Aftersales Manager but the emails are ignored. In addition, I am now experiencing a few electrical and braking issues. I have emailed 3 times to book an appointment but no response. I called the service centre but my call is not picked up. Overall, it has been a very stressful experience buying a new Renault car from them and dealing with a poor aftersales support. I feel like a ping pong between Renault UK customer service, the Wilsons Epsom sales team and the Wilsons Service Centre. Customers buy new car for better reliability and aftersales support. But both seem to be totally absent. Update (May 29) - I gave my full name and contact details as requested 6 days back. Yet no call from Wilsons to resolve this issue. Clearly there is no intent to reply to customer’s emails or phone calls. Update (4 June) - No contact from Wilsons yet. Not responding to emails, phone calls or request made through MyRenault app. Seems they only have a marketing department but no customer complaint handling department.

I bought a Nissan Qashqai in July 2022. The sales person Greg Fox is the gentleman that sold us the car. I felt completely looked after, Greg was a 100% professional he knew what he was doing and I felt completely confident in his hands. Unfortunately my car was stolen recently, I had to call Wilson’s for some documents for my insurance company. Again Greg was truly amazing and helped in every way he could. I have always bought my cars from Wilsons and their service is second to none. If you go to Nissan and need any help then ask for Greg Fox, you will not be disappointed.

After owning my last for 9 years I was dreading the process of finding a new car when mine finally gave in. I found Wilson's online and contacted them via live chat to book a test drive. This was promptly followed by a phone call from Lucy (in the Peugeot office) to ask what we were looking for, she assured us we could test drive the vehicle we'd spotted online but also advised that we could browse the full inventory when we visited. When we visited, Lucy helped us narrow it down to about seven vehicles that matched our criteria, she took us to see each one, we never felt any pressure to make quick decisions or rushed through any of the process. When we found the vehicle that we wanted Lucy took is through on the financial options and was able to help answer all our questions as we'd not purchased a car using finance before. Nothing was too much trouble and the entire process felt relaxed and friendly. Even after signing on the dotted line, the team continued to offer support with a smile. Toby (or perhaps Tony) rang me to arrange the finances paper which needed signing digitally, he even took the time to come and meet us when collecting the vehicle. When we picked up the car it was in perfect condition, the team had done an amazing job of cleaning it inside and out. Even though it was a second hand car, everything felt sparkling and new. From service to price, I can't fault our experience.
