This is a great company to deal with - always friendly and helpful even if you are stretching their payment terms which sadly I once did They always get a good price when selling whisky for me and I have bought from them many times as well and have always been delighted by the service

The winning bids are ok but once carriage is added it puts any savings you made on the bids much more per item.not sure I will bid again.carrage needs to be capped at a reasonable total

It was my first time using the site. Everything was clear, including the final price you may pay, and once I won an auction, the item was delivered 2 days after I paid for it, so very efficient.

It was my first online auction experience, and since then I take part of almost all auctions!

The site probably has the best design of all auction sites, with enough information in the lot list, the option to bid directly from the list, clear information regarding current total for winning bottles and total for maximum bids, and most important - if you've made a mistake and bid too much, you can always change the maximum bid to any some as long as it's not below the current winning bid. Simple and effective. My only gripe is the buyer's commission of 15% when most auctions place it at 10-12%, so any bid translates to a little more than other auctions.

More often than not, the guidance notes are full and informative. Reminders are regular around sale time and dispatch is rapid after payment made. Bottles are well wrapped for postage. Can’t fault them.

Never heard of an auction where the buyer pays commission??? Once you add commission fees onto the bottle price you pay over and above shop prices.

Poorly described bottles, last bottles came with marks etc cardboard bottle boxes stained, crumpled etc, no mention of this in the description, very hard to see this kind of damage from 2 photos, very disapointing I am fully aware you are an auctioneer site, but unlike other auctioneer sites who cleary describe damage to bottles, bottle boxes etc you did not To be clear, there was nothing in the description stating the boxes were badly worn, stained, torn in places, the bottle tops were marked which cannot be seen from 2 photos I feel these damages should have been clearly noted in the description, had they been i would not have bought them As a collector i am always looking for quality goods As you are aware of how many bottles etc i have bought in the past it should be simple to check back and see the lack of information provided on each sale page The damaged bottles and boxes were not damaged in transit, the damages were age old I was asked to leave a review, this is an honest review
