I found the company very rude and condescending, they tried to tell me my payment was unable to be sent and had disappeared. It took me time but I had to tell them how to do this even though the finance department was sorting it oit

WA have a very good system in getting my lots to me in a timely manner. The reason I have not given them 5 stars is because of their high commission rate of 15%. The majority of websites I buy from are 10% so 50% difference is a lot when you also have to take currency fluctuations into account.

Great auction experience, but let down by "Parcel-Force" lack of communication, no card through door to instruct new date or where parcel left. Finally delivered 4 days later and asked driver why no card through door, he replied "none left, need to get more"? Poor effort for a paid service.

Generally good though the box for the Armagnac I bought is not in a great condition. Could have done with a photo of that.

I guess the buyer commissions are highest in the UK, ended up paying more than current market price for some bottles not knowing that clearly in advance. Apart of that well organized. All the other whisky auction websites I’m buying from charging 10% plus VAT buyer commission. Whisky.Auction is charging 15% + VAT. It was my mistake to consider they were charging the same amount like others and not reading the explanation on the website in advance. I can also recommend to add tracking link for shipped bottles.
