I did a two driver day at Silverstone GP in a hire caterham r300. I got out my calculator and figured I could do 75 more such days for the cost of owning my own r300. But that would be without the extremely professional mechanical support from several mechanics, professional instruction and insurance. Not to mention maintenance and consumables and the spare car available! Fantastically well organized with limited cars on track, and perhaps most importantly a safety briefing that actually gave detailed warnings of what might go wrong in the most problematic corners. I'll be back soon and I feel relieved that I won't ever have to worry about saving up for buying my own track car again as long as these guys are in business.
As it was not mentioned I prompted a query at the compulsory safety briefing with regard to joining a live circuit via blend line, at Marshall 's discretion and/or accelerate to appropriate speed.
The weather was perfect for generating heat into your tyres.It was a pity The evening was interrupted by drivers dropping off the grey stuff.
A very professionally run event
good people, however they could have been better organised. they did not have a card machine and just wrote the numbers down on a bit of paper , not ideal . We were at the evening session and also booked an instructor for each of us but as the evening session is so short and there were a few track incidents we managed to do about 15 laps and only got one session with an instructor 50 mins later than booked. Although the evening session is cheaper i would suggest that you go for the day session as it allows more time for incidents to be cleared away

The experience at Donnington was fantastic and very well organised. The Caterhams were prepared for us and advice was on hand whenever required.

This was my first track day and glad I booked with bookatrack, it was well organised and the staff were friendly and helpful. I paid for an instructor and he was great and not rushed or 'clock watching'. Great track too.

It is a great way to hone your driving skills to improve speed awareness and have some fun the team from advisers to driving instructors are very friendly helpful and offer high safety pointers to ensure you arrive and go home safely but most of all you tread where others like Stirling Moss have been and you get to imagine exactly how great they really were. In a word fantastic

Safety briefing was "one rule for some, another rule for others". Language was intimidating, condescending and unwelcoming. Biggest issue was in billing, In which it seems my card details were leaked. 3 days ago I got a text from bookatrack implying card details may have been compromised. This coincided with over £700 being fraudulently taken from my account. A friend I made on the day who also uses bookatrack got the same text, and subsequently was also hit by card fraud (the fraudsters bought the same things in both cases - an uncanny coincidence). Him and I don't shop at the same places, the linking factor seems to have been our usage of the bookatrack website. Great circuit, and alright once the day got going, but safety briefing was unlike any briefing I have ever been to before. I understand the importance of safety, but scaring people into worrying and not enjoying themselves is surely not the point. Would like to honestly be told if the website card details were compromised.
Had a great weekend, found the team at Book a Track very helpful, especially when I needed to find someone who could weld up my exhaust on a Saturday afternoon in Belgium, I thought my weekend fun was over but and hour later I was back on track thanks to the teams help, I will book with them for my next Spa trip without any doubt.
Flexible on arrival time, well organised and friendly. Good drivers in a mix of road and race cars respecting each other.
As always a well run event. Very sorry to find out at the briefing that those of us with race licences are no longer as welcome as those without. I've been a customer for nine years and never caused them a red flag however if I had on this event, like anyone else who races it would have cost me half a day in the sin bin whilst those without a race licence causing a stoppage would have been allowed straight back out on track. An unfortunate way of penalising loyal customers made even harsher by bookatrack choosing a Friday before a race weekend, clearly designed to capatalise on those of wanting to do some laps before racing. They massivly inflated prices then made us feel unwelcome. Surely one rule for all would have been fairer! Disappointed :-(
Well organised. Excellent track rules for overtaking, which were observed by all. Helpful Bookatrack staff who assisted me in repairing my car to allow me to continue the day on track,

Great experience, great value for money and the caterhams are superb! It was so good first time at Donnington that I had booked to go again within a month to Oulton Park.....which was even better! The instructor session is a nice touch. I can't recommend them highly enough.
