End to End process was great and the outstanding items were, packaging at the origin (Cleo and team) and clearance at the destination (Mohammad and his team).
I have lost one large box (18x18x24) both the times I ship with Universal Relocations. First time I lost the box, I realized very late and reported it. They said it crossed 45 days so they cannot investigate but second time I shipped with them ( with their assurance there wont be any missing baggage this time) I lost one box again. But this time I reported it before I received the shipment. I told them on the phone that I have x number of boxes, and they said they received x-1. They said they will investigate but nothing happened, they couldn't figure it out where it got lost. I don't expect it from reputed company like this, that they couldn't track the item which went from their warehouse. I lost precious items from the US both the times. I don't recommend it any more after my personal experience with them twice.
The initial sales, pickup, etc were good. Later the India team (Mohammad) was in touch and kept me updated. That was good. All People were courteous and tried to ensure a positive customer experience. On the points of improvement- A) it took about 26 days for the shipment to reach me by air. The proposal said 10-20 days. I needed special diapers for my infant son that i had kept in the shipment, and had difficulty because the shipment was late. I think the shipment was sent late from US to India by Universal. For customer delight, target 10 days. For a customer to be satisfied, The company’s response should include explanations on what happened and why. The response I received from the marketing manager left me wondering why did the delay happen- I would have liked to get an explanation

During the shipping of the 20 foot container of my household goods from Singapore, Universal Relocations kept me informed weekly of changes in the expected arrival date. When the shipment reached port I was informed immediately and told to expect a call in the next few days to set up the delivery to my new home. I had a two day notice prior to the delivery. The team of three gentleman who arrived with my container did a wonderful job. They went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied in where my items were placed. Even when I asked for something to be moved elsewhere because I had changed my mind, they did it with a smile. All the furniture that needed to be put back together was done correctly. My wife and I had been worried that the move-in day would be a nightmare, but your team made it a pleasant experience, thank you.
