I have been asked to revise my review as I focused on the Kuwait rather than US part. However, I made one payment for the move so consider it one transaction. If part of it was bad it affects the entire move. However, I will add some details about the US end. My goods sat in storage in NJ for weeks after my colleague’s shipment was delivered to her home even though they came on the same ship. When I finally received a call about delivery it was with little notice and for a day when no one would be home. I explained that but again was pushed to accept their delivery day which was impossible. Started to feel like a repeat of bullying in Kuwait. We finally agreed on a day and of course more changes were made on their end. The men who delivered the goods were excellent. Efficient, friendly, professional. They would be a great public representative of any company. Boxes cleared customs without issue and nothing was damaged. This is why a 2 rather than 1 star review was given. Below is my original post which still stands: The move from Kuwait was horrible, extremely stressful, and I felt rushed and almost bullied into having my shipment packed up weeks earlier than I wanted. Dates kept changing. Information was incomplete. It seemed that the only concern was to fill the ship rather than best meet my needs as a paying customer. Fortunately the packers on both ends were good. The shipment was very expensive even though I was told I was getting a discount. I feel I was manipulated. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We recently used Universal Relocations while moving from the US to India. They are very professional and process oriented team. The shipping of our stuff was handled in great way. Universal Relocations team always kept us updated about package location and expected delivery week. Sandhya (the Move Manager) promptly arranged the delivery of the boxes once they reached the warehouse in India. She and the delivery driver kept in our constant touch on the delivery day. It was great experience and excellent customer service. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a similar service!!!

The delivery people are good to work with, and my packages arrived safely
The delivery men very good and quick, no issues with them. They did a good job. My issue was that I was requested to pay extra $300 dollars for delivering the piano an hour before delivery. Paying the extra money was a surprise, since the shipping company in the source country was supposed to collect all shipping charges up front.
The experience was great with universal relocations. Packed the items safely from India and delivered it to US (home delivery). I would highly recommend this team.

I got antique furnitures moved from India to USA and the whole process was stress free, on time with awesome customer service provided throughout the whole process. Extremely satisfied.
The representatives on both sides of the transfer were reassuring, knowledgeable and pleasant. Qualities I really needed during this short fuse transfer from a country I had lived and worked in for almost 20 years. They answered my questions with grace and poise even though many of those questions were based on out of date guidelines. The Gentleman in Bahrain that oversaw and prepared the transfer were truly exceptional. Moving is permanently listed as one of the most traumatic events but the two people that I interacted with took all of the stress out of the process and I would recommend them to any group as points of contact for their moving needs. Large or small! Your office kept me up to date all along the process and the delivery team went about their work in a solid and careful manner! This was around my 12th cross border move and easily my least stressful. Thank you

While researching for a reliable shipment company, after reading lots of positive reviews we confirmed and trusted Universal Relocation. Initially 5 boxes and then one more box we shipped from USA to India. We opted for door to door service. For the initial 5 boxes, the last hadler Bluedart disappointed us as the delivery person refused to deliver our consignment to our house. Also the condition of the boxes were pretty bad. I complained and representative of Universal Relocation contacted me instantly. However, there was nothing they can do. Hence, I prayed for my last consignment which came to my door appropriately. It is my request to the company that in those boxes for you it might contained some household objects but for us those are memories. So in future please take good care of every consignment.
I highly recommend UL as its the best option to send international cargo shipments at reasonable price. I am awaiting my shipment and hoping I will get the same service with delivery at my destination in U.S-Florida. Thus far I got the best service from all their team members at my origin in India- Hyderabad, especially from sales Ashwini and Packing crew led by Raghram.
