The ground staff who actually handle stuff are very efficient, well trained and well mannered. They make adjustments as needed based on local logistics as Indian conditions are not standard in every town. Very impressed. The folks handling customs at Chennai, especially the agent assigned to meet and walk me through customs, could use a little more customer service experience.

We were moved from Dubai to the USA. Very professional on both ends from the first in-home meeting in Dubai, the careful packing and removing of our items to the delivery, drop off, and removal of the boxes, and packing material. Very personable, very professional... I highly recommend Universal Relocations.
The whole process was smooth and seamless. Most important part was communication where we got update every week and additional updates at every status change. It was on time as per committed in the beginning of send stuff from USA to India.
Starting from Quote to delivery, everything they did as promised. My packed was picked around 20 May 23 and Delivered on 27 July 23. It was delivered on time and with care, no damage.

Extremely unprofessional management team and incompetent packing team. Their charges are high and the quality of packaging is extremely poor. And they refuse take any accountability for the damage caused and don’t respond to your calls and emails.
This is the second time I am using Universal Relocation. Both time their service is excellent and they have ensured their best service from the packaging to unpacking at the destination. They came prepared and packaged the goods with utmost care. Shipping coordinator and the team are very supportive and guided through our shipment.
Shipped 4 boxes from US to India. On receipt, I found boxes were opened and lot of kitchen items were missing. Packages inside the boxes were opened and wrappers of items were found without items inside.They are not valuables, but useful items for us. I contacted them and asked them to provide CCTV footage from their warehouse in US and India and asked them to request port authorities and Customs in India to review CCTV footage if any. Did not receive a confirmation, if this was done at all. I had not insured the packages, as they are not worth insuring and packed the items myself. So, they said, they could not help. If reliability of shipment making to destination is questionable, why would people use their services?

We relocated our household items from Bangalore, India to Florida, US. The team in India was very efficient and professional. The office team coordinated with us continuously, setting up the paperwork for the transfer of goods and the packaging crew worked smoothly and efficiently in our home on the appointed day. Every item was beautifully packed, cataloged, loaded and the areas cleaned up. The transfer to the US was in the stipulated time with a smooth exit through Customs in New York. It was transported by road with continuous updates. The ground crew in Florida unloaded the items in a very professional manner, checking items off the list, unpacking, setting the items in their designated place in our home, putting back together items that had been dismantled for easy transportation. They cleaned up and loaded all the packaging items into their container truck. We are incredibly happy and extremely satisfied at the ease and efficient transfer of goods from India to the US.

Lot of hidden costs. Not upfront about them to prepare the customers.
I had 2 moves done by them, 1 international and 1 interstate. They were clear about the timelines even though I didn't like the dates. But my goods were delivered on the promised date. There was constant communication during the period to keep me updated on the status of the move. I have recommended them to many friends and they have had similar positive experiences. One business model change (if they are already not doing it), I would suggest is that can they consolidate the goods for transport with other carriers. It would save them costs and also make goods arrive sooner for the customer.
