I am using tyro for my 4 restaurants, I asked for increased my loan but no one care. Aldo, I hold Tyro stock too. If I pay off the loan I will change all my platforms to another company. New manager doesn’t care anything. My company is Newthainatown, areechai, Charmhornext and bring forward pty ltd.

Allied health practice. 1, they sent the normal shop version of the payment machine so could not do health funds etc. 2,Takes 45-60min on hold before getting a person to help each time so prob 10hrs on hold so far in total. 3, new machine came - correct one but it would not take eftpos from phones, cards were good but all attempts with several apple and android phones failed. 4, Another new machine came, again it is not able to do health (medicare, health funds...). How stupid and careless can a company be. This has cost me client goodwill, I have lost payments as I cannot make claims and my admin person has used about 20 hours on this. Avoid like the plague!

Worst customer service in history of customer service or support! We have an issue with our terminal. Power cord frayed and broken. So far it’s been 17 days and we don’t have a replacement that has been promised over a dozen times! Apparently “they don’t use express couriers” or express post, nor can you pick one up from anywhere or buy one anywhere! We have a small family business and we have lost a significant amount of business and all we get when we call is “sorry you feel that way” “nothing we can do to make the delivery faster” “sorry supervisors don’t take calls” We bought a tile trying to hobble through but that drops out every 3rd transaction and needs to be reset. Customers get sick of waiting and leave. Understandable so now our business is getting bad reviews and complaints even though we have spend over 20 hours on the phone BEGGING for a solution. They can not explain why it takes over 2 weeks to send out a cord, only explanation is “someone made a mistake” but we’ve spoken to no less than 10 people so at least 10 people effed up! No customer can believe in 2024 a simple eftpos terminal can’t be fixed or replaced in over 2 weeks! It makes our business look unprofessional. They have offered to refund us for the rental on the terminal that doesn’t work. most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Gee thanks?

The simplicity of procuring a loan is useful , based on my daily takings. Back up service excellent ( eg eftpos machine stopped working , received replacement promptly.

I always get great service when calling. The phone staff speak clearly and so easy to understand. Tyro has progressed so far since joining in the late 90's. (Membership number 000061) They have innovative products and treat you as if you're number 1. Unlike the Banks!

I called up and the person I spoke to couldn't answer my question. I was then told I would get a call back but this never happened. I also sent an email but never received a response to this either.

When I started with Tyro I hadn't heard about them, they were recommended to me by my business advisor. The fees were reasonable, and the eftpos machines are sturdy and reliable. They are continually asking their customers what they can do to improve their services, and have introduced things like business loans where your repayment is a percentage of the daily takings. We asked for internet banking and elements of that are starting to flow through. All I need now is debit card capability where I can pay for items online, over the phone or direct debit.
