Easy to do and good value insurance.
Guys pls avoid them when it comes to insuring your gadgets. They are the biggest scammers, All they know is how to rip people of their hard earned money. I'm talking from experience, they are working together with Davies group which is their claim administrators. I was attacked on the 14th of December 2023 at knife point and my gadgets were all taking away. I contacted the police repaort this and was given a crime reference number, while investigation was ongoing, i was advised to reach out to my insurer and network provider so as to enable them to blacklist the phone / barred the sim. I contacted their claim team and since then its been a nightmare . From requesting for proof of usage, proof of ID, proof of address, immobilise loss report which I spend about £6 to report my loss and generate a certificate, proof of purchase. I sent all these documents and they all have on display the gadget details and IMEI Numbers which they acknowledged and promised process the claim. Since then nothing has be done, and they have been sending me back and forth and this has caused me a very big damage mentally for not getting the services I'm paying for. With all these going on, they are still taking direct debits as when due.
Avoid this people with everything you have, they are scammers. All they know how to do is to rip people off their hard earned money. Policy number: TI-600296
Avtar at Tin Hat assisted with a query today quickly and is typical of the quick responses I have over the years Website is easy to navigate and rates for cover are very competitive. Unfortunately I have had to make claims over the years for my son and these have been promptly taken care of. I am not sure if this still applies but Tin Hat only company who would cover an under 18 with parent as a policy holder
Very easy to swap my new iPhone for an older one. There was a very small price increase but that was fair enough for getting the latest model (and came on the back of my annual renewal being reduced as my devices were older). Very polite and efficient service from Avtar
Very fast response by polite friendly staff and the policy is priced really well for comprehensive cover. I will be using again and I suggest anybody looking for phone insurance does too

Needed to move policy over to a new device and did it all via email with Avtar. Obviously the price is slightly higher now it is a newer device but that was to be expected - and not having to faff with phone calls etc made the whole process far easier and quicker 👍

Would have given a 5 star review except a computer error meant that my daughter’s phone and tablet insurance wasn't renewed at the end of last year which meant the policy didn't roll over. However, Mohammed Khan was extremely quick and helpful getting this corrected and was able to add her new laptop to the policy as well even though it wasn't a model on their current list as it is new to Apple's range. It is on their list now!
Avtar made everything simple and straightforward no nonsense
Complete and utter con artists! Do NOT INSURE with them. I lost my phone on the 15th October and 4 months later I still don't have a replacement phone. Despite paying my insurance for 2 years and NEVER making a claim. Their communication is appalling, they take weeks to reply to emails. They repeatedly ask for the SAME documentation (which I have provided on numerous occasions). DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very efficient , organised and polite and updated my policy to my new phone. Also made me realise I needed to add another phone. Very good pricing too.
