When I email tinhat, they have been efficient on amending my insurance and pay dates. They reply very promptly.
Absolutely appalling service! Impossible to speak with someone! I've been without a phone for 3 months! Every automated email response says they will get back to you within 15 working days - they don't! Deliberately sending us round in circles to obtain fictitious documents/information just to avoid paying out!!! Avoid at all costs!!! ******UPDATE***** Tinhat have responded to my Google review providing a phone number which doesn't get answered and an email address still telling me to wait a further 7 WORKING DAYS! I've been without a phone since October! We're rapidly approaching February, I'm not sure anyone at your company is working ANY DAYS! *****UPDATE***** It's Monday 6th February. I still don't have a phone. I've still not physically spoken to anyone as the phone never gets answered!! I got an email saying something about 're opening my case!!! I've no idea why it would need to be reopened as it should NEVER have been closed considering I've had no contact or resolution!! This company is honestly the worst I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They just ignore and ignore and hope that you give up and go away - all the while collecting their monthly premium. Absolutely disgusting.
Have used tinhat to ensure my sons phone for a few years. Fortunately I havent had to call on them, so cannot comment on that side of their performance, however have always found them quick responding, proffesional and helpful. Cancelled policy today as cover no longer required and again dealt with quickly and efficiently by Avtar.
I have been using Tinhat for the past 2 years. No problems at all. Highly recommended for peace of mind. Just contacted Avtar to change the policy for my daughters new phone which he processed swiftly with no drama making the service very easy to use. Thank you Avtar!!

Do not insure with tin hat. You will be ringing them time and time again with them trying to fob you off. Wasted so much time on the phone with them I could of just bought a new one. I had everything they needed and they just kept trying to tell me I wasn't insured on my headphone for a headphone policy madness. Did get there in the end but WOW CON REALLY

Communication has been horrendous. I have sent email after email for a response and decision on our claim. Not even the courtesy of a reply. I will be phoning tomorrow for answers....lets just hope I dont have to be on hold for 45 minutes like the last time I had to call!! Shocking customer service.
