Absolutely a sham of a company! Logged my claim few weeks ago and have sent all relevant documents and still have not heard anything back! This company is a scam do not go with them.

Just bought a Moto G8 Power. This could not be selected on the drop down list as it’s only just gone on sale. A quick email and in less than half an hour and I could select it. I hand a discount code which couldn’t be entered, but has been applied post purchase and a refund given. I realise that they want my custom but at least the issues were sorted quickly. I hope I never have to claim, but if I have to, I expect a similarly excellent service!
not happy! purchased he indurance for my s10plus following the reviews that they replace quickly and have good customer service! I would say not! logged my claim on Monday 16th contacted by Friday 21st. asked to provide documents regarding owenership and usage which I provided within 10 minutes from EE and then nothing. tried to email and call but no response. still waiting for a response 3 days later. don't believe it when they state most claims are sorted within 48hrs its untrue. very unhappy with the level of service I have been provided and the total lack of response. I have raised a complaint to the complaints team but don't hold out much hope of a response? why did I even bother to pay for insurance when its not worth anything - poor company I would avoid

Do not use if you don’t have a 12 month warranty absolute joke, take your money but fail to mention the finer details

Have been with Tinhat for 18 months and made my first claim last year. Paid my £50 excess and sent it off via Royal Mail Special Delivery. A brand new phone came back within a couple of days. How good is that. Have since bought a more expensive phone and this comes with a £100 excess, but this still seems reasonable when the phone is valued at nearly £800. By accident, phones can be left somewhere or dropped and excesses need to reflect this. I am more than happy to recommend Tinhat for your phone insurance. The customer service from the team is second to none and reassuring.
