Staff are great Max loves them.

The woman on reception was lovely and very helpful. My puppy was booked in for a puppy groom and spring package which included getting her nails clipped. I was told her nails were clipped but when I checked they weren’t yet it was on the form. She smelled and looked lovely. She is a lab so no hair clipping was required. As nails were not clipped I wonder what else was missed?

Staff are friendly ,professional and very caring in their attitude towards customers and their pets. Faye , our groomer welcomed our little dog and her approach was really sensitive she promptly rang me when the session was finished and presented us with an absolutely beautifully clean and beautifully cut little dog. Another good thing our little dog comes out unstressed.

Thank you Gina, you always make it such a lovely experience both for Hector and myself. He’s such a gentle dog, but when you take over with him I feel I have left him in safe hands. Love the way you groom him too. Thank you.

Aston groom was just as asked and the team do a really good job.

The lady was lovely, loved my dog like her own and made sure he felt comfortable! Groom was done lovely too! A bit more expensive that I usually pay but more reliable and a better service! Have already booked another appointment!

The staff were absolutely lovely with my nervous dog and did a great job. Can’t fault it whatsoever.

First time for our dog to be groomed as we normal do her

1st time our long haired german shepherd was in for a full groom experience @ The Aniston centre, durham. Staff were amazing, they all made a fuss of him which he loved. Many thanks to the staff as Storm came home looking great & smelling wonderful. Will definitely be returning

Fantastic was great with my Samoyed went a bit shorter on him as it’s hot and they did a great job.

Always go to Groom Room at the Pets at Home at the Arnison Centre in Durham. The staff are professional and lovely people. They are excellent with the dogs and my dog always looks fab when he’s been groomed.

Poppie went for her first groom as she is just 6 months, she looks amazing and the team have done an amazing job

The way the staff are with my 2 dogs is great I appreciate what they do with them and always come out looking great

Poor service and bad attitude towards customers. The administrator works unprofessionally, does not know what is included in the service and cannot answer any questions. For £38, the dog was only washed, not cut the hair on the paws and ears. It's a disgusting place and disgusting service, we'll never go back there.

Murphy is 15 and sore his coat had become quite matted.The groomer was amazing.🤩.She treated him with the utmost kindness.He came home looking amazing and feeling a lot better.I have to say her expertise is outstanding.

Not impressed, hair around toes and nails good but the hair around our dogs toilet area looks like it's been hacked off, not neat or even.. Will not be going back .. overpriced for a chihuahua tidy up, £57 !!!

We have been taking our Springer Spaniel to The Groom Room at The Wrekin retail park in Telford for over 2 years. We picked them after having an in depth discussion about what they offer and the fact that we specifically asked if they use dig crates - we were told No. With that in mind we have continued to take Lilly - it's always been a very friendly service with the girls treating Lilly well and her grooms have always been good. So imagine our horror when yesterday we dropped her off at the appointment time and we're told she would be ready at 2:30 - if any earlier they would ring us. Great we thought. We returned at 2:25 (we always come a little earlier and usually the girls are just finishing her off as we try to keep out of site behind some shelving so not to excite her). When we arrived Lilly was no where to be seen - 2 other digs were being groomed and there was a lady at the front desk - I asked where Lilly was and was informed she was at the back. I then asked - you haven't crated here have you? Expecting a no (because hubby and I were told that they don't crate). To be told yes she has been crated but it's ok cos they have just finished her. I and hubby were livid - I explained she has never been crated and we were told that they didn't do that - it was the main reason we chose The Groom Room. I asked her to fetch Lilly straight away. It was very clear from Lilly's body language that she was distressed. I again stated our issue and all I was kept being told was it was The Groom Room policy. I should have asked for a copy of such policy but I took too upset. I have since tried to locate such policy.on line but to no avail. There was no acknowledgement from the lady at the till - the name Emma is on our receipt. I had never dealt with this lady before - all the girls have always been so friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately Emma just kept repeating It's the policy! No acknowledgement of ours and Lilly's distress. I then informed her it is a shame because we've always been pleased with Lilly's grooming and we chose them because we were told some time ago at the front desk that they don't crate but we would we would never use them again because of this. I am going to put in a written complaint direct to The Groom Room - we would never have used them if they had said that they do crate. We will take our business elsewhere.
