No way are the 5-star reviews on the site true. The sample image of the bare root plant that you're going to receive is so deceiving. I ended up with 2 dead husks of former plants and a 3rd that's hanging on to life. I was really let down with these purchases and I wish I hadn't made them at all.

Placed and order online, order process was smooth, Product delivered in about a week which is what I expected. I planted the shrubs and we'll see what happens come springtime. One of the 3 ordered is already starting to grow.

I wish I could give it ZERO stars. What a waste of time and money dealing with these people! I lost my home and all my belongings in the New Mexico wildfire in Spring 2022. A year later I finally got into a home and found TN Nursery online who claimed to be the oldest online nursery and so I purchased some of my tried and true favorite plants. As a horticulturist, nice plants are so important to me and I was excited for them to arrive. When they did the package was smashed and the UPS guy suggested I take pics of it all... which I did while I was opening the box. What a mess! One plant had plenty of leaves that were all totally crispy and dessicated. Another had one leaf which promptly died. Most everything else in plastic bags (except one bag of bulbs) looked like black blobs and no solid roots. I sent the pics and a specfic list of the issues to TN Nursery and they told me to wait another month for them to 'break dormancy'. Only the bulbs grew and one weak leaf showed up on one plant. NOTHING ELSE LIVED! They refused to replace OR refund until April 25 of next year. HELLO?! These are dead and rotten roots. Do they think I don't recognize that!? I kept writing them and they sent me a gift certificate for their business for $13 which is just about what I paid for shipping. I'll never use that token and do NOT suggest anyone give this terribly unethical nursery your business. I am so disappointed, disgruntled and SAD that I wanted nice plants, got horrible tiny globs and they didn't even take any responsibilty with their horrible customer care. Rude and condescending doesn't help me want to do business with them ever again! If they've been in business for over 60 years, whoever took over from the original owners clearly doesn't know the needed skills of this trade.

I loved free shipping, and the deals for multiple orders of 3. It is hard to review when the ferns just arrived and have been planted. No signs of life yet, just roots, bu t hopeful. UPDATE: now end of March 2024 and still no sign of life; for either the ferns or geraniums. No response to messge sent. Was told earlier to just wait. Well I waited, no life, no response. Poor service.

Fast service, packaged nice!

The plants were well packed, delivered quickly and the instructions were clear. I've had a lot of dead plants arrive and this was not that. I am very pleased and will order again.

Three types of ferns ordered and received three brown bags with tangles of roots in two, New York Fern and Hay Scented Fern. Cinnamon Fern roots are easier to tell apart with thicker stems. The tangle of roots and stems in the other two back was a nightmare. Finding the stems and roots and pulling them apart into three plants was nearly impossible. Would be nice if they were individually wrapped in some way. The left over rootlets I just dug a hole outside and covered them in soil in case I missed something in the ones I planted. Placed them in pots until they can sprout and I can place them in ground.

Beautiful and healthy looking roots! Hopefully I will be able to nurture them into growing.

Got what I ordered, and they all seemed fine. Now for the seasonable wait..

I was surprised that the lilly pads didn't come with the Pads.... Poor product description on their part I feel.

Only concern was no information how to determine root side from top side. Otherwise, very pleased with product.

Packaging is excellent. When I opened my packages (I'd had them for 2 days), they still had a hood amount of moisture in the baggies. They are fine and I like that. Can't wait to see them thrive when they grow up yo adult hood.

I was not expecting bare root ferns. Several in my order looked like dried out roots. I don't think now is the best time to plant ferns that will not come up till next spring. I have my doubts that they will survive. We'll see.
