I have bought appliances from Stellisons since around 1975 at their early beginnings shop on the A13 road in Thundersley Benfleet Essex which was personally run by the late Mr Stellison. Excellent service and competitive prices.Never a problem. However recently moved to Suffolk,bought three products , paid up front nearly £2k and advised a morning delivery around 10.00am that came about 2pm. The Salesman advised that the products would all be well wrapped when delivered yet the AEG oven had absolutely no covering whatsoever ! A couple of days later the oven was installed professionally but when trying to set the clock several times as Manufactures booklet it repeatedly cut out the RCD circuit on the propertyConsumer board. The Electician tested the house wiring and Oven connection with special equipment which were ok. Clearly this Oven is not fit for purpose Beware of new display models unless you are confident they carry some sort of pre delivery test certificate from the supplier. Because changing ovens like this is very inconvenient and disruptive to your meal routine for possibly a week or more before sorted. Apart from peripheral costs also incurred.

The whole experience from ordering until delivery was great. The staff in the shop were really helpful and arranged the delivery as soon as the items were available. The delivery came on time and the two men that delivered were very kind and helpful. Would definitely use Stellisons again. Highly recommend them.

Always informative, friendly. I have a local shop so I am able to talk to them face to face. I had my door on freezer reversed, Although it cost me £45 which was a bit expensive, that only took about 8 minutes to do. They have separate drivers at Chelmsford to those in the Benfleet, and the shop can identify the delivery drivers. So more accountability. The lads who delivered where also very friendly. I could have ordered online, but I prefer to deal with them direct and there is no option to request a door change. If I have any problems I can have direct contact with the shop.

Colchester Stellisons. What an experience! Good old fashioned customer service. Jake was exceptional and a real credit to the company. New washer ordered delivered and fitted by 2 top blokes. Highly recommended to all my friends.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The first engineer who came out to repair my washer/dryer, didn’t know what the fault was and said that he needed to reach the manufacturer. I had to call the office the next day to find out what was going on, as no one had contacted me with an update. Having spoken to the manufacturer myself, the information was easily accessible to the engineer. The second engineer who came out to install the parts required, failed to check the machine was operational before leaving and assumed it was fixed. However, on its first use the machine failed again. I was told it was going to be a week and a half before someone could come out again. After being firm, I was eventually given an appointment for three days time. The manufacturer requested Stellisons refund me for half of the cost of the parts a week ago, they still have not done so. I am recommending to the manufacturer that they no longer use Stellisons as a third party service. I have wasted hours trying to get my issue resolved.

Ordered dishwasher in store, staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Delivered rapidly, on time. Removed old dishwasher for re-cycling. Altogether a good shopping experience, which I would recommend, and use again! TR
