Skip Hire Network offer domestic and business customers the opportunity to hire a skip wherever they are based in the UK. We offer various sizes and are able to dispose of most waste types with particular attention to diversion from landfill and maximisation on recycle rates. In addition you will be helping to sustain the Recycling Lives charity. The social welfare charity helps vulnerable men aged 25+ by providing accommodation, education, training, work placements and employment.

I hired a very large skip and the money was taken out of my account immediately. Skip Hire rang and said the skip company they use could not deliver therefore I must pay another £70 to have an alternative one delivered. I had no as my choice builders were waiting. The skip was supposed to arrive in the morning and actually did not arrive until teatime. I did obtained the number of the local skip company they were using and dealt with them directly. I would not recommend this company. They are overpriced. This company give you a deal then add further charges. Inefficient Disgraceful Anyone hiring a skip in future use a local company direct and save money.

Website has all the information that you need. Easy to book and the assistant on the phone was very helpful. Delivery and collection of skip went smoothly and all staff friendly and efficient

Awful company! My skip was meant to be collected today but he arrived and said it was too full. It was slightly over the level but every skip I see are over the level. I was told I now have to empty half the skip and pay £80 plus VAT for a wasted journey! A total of £302. The woman on the telephone was rude and no help at all. The only reason I didn’t use a local company was because I needed the skip fast and none were available, something which I now regret, especially after reading other reviews. It’s a scam company, we were told when we booked not to put paint or mattresses not that the rubbish had to be exactly level. When we called to have it collected we could have been told to make sure the skip was level. They obviously like to come out and charge their £80 wasted journey fees.

I ordered 2 x skips to be delivered to two different addresses in birmingham, one for Wednesday and one for Thursday. The first one was delivered 2 days late on Friday and the second one was delivered 7 days later, had to phone them up on several occasions chasing the skips to no avail, absolutely abysmal service will never use again, my advise look elsewhere and go direct to skip company bypassing this call centre.

An abysmal "service". Claiming to be an easy to use internet service, the very first day that I ordered, and needed clarification on something, I submitted my question on the web form. It has gone unanswered. The day the skip was due to turn up, getting later and later into the day, I emailed them, and again got no response. I had to ring them up again. In fact, I had to ring them on four separate occasions in order to finally get my skip delivered 3 days later than scheduled. All emails and web requests went completely unanswered. Today I had to ring up to ask about getting the skip collected because, again, there absolutely no way to do that on the website. The service claims to make things easier, but all they've done is turn my rental of a skip into a frustrating game of phoning, and complaining, and grumbling. The service "works" to a point, but I would honestly argue that they're simply not set up to provide the service that they claim to. A better internet infrastructure is needed, both at their side, and also the skip hire businesses that they work with. The service as it is, is in dire need of an overhaul, and I won't be using them again in the future. If you, like me, are anxious about picking up a phone, it is NOT worth the hassle of dealing with this company. I spent far too much time on the phone, this week, and I shan't be doing it again. Avoid, until they fix all of their many issues. Dig out an old yellow pages, and do it yourself.

Very helpful with the hiring process. And prices reasonable too compared with a previous skip ordered elsewhere. Would definitely recommend and would hire again.

The skip was due for a AM delivery.....it did not arrive on due date let alone AM. I had to ring this network company three times, they just rang the skip people, no proactive activity in keeping me updated, no interest in me as a customer....excuse after excuse. I got the skip delivery sorted for the next day myself by contacting the skip people direct both on the evening of the day of delivery and then in the morning Very poor service, no added value. I will go direct to the skip people next time. Not value for money.

I ordered 2 8yard skips as my normal skip company didnt deliver to this specific postcode. £678.55 charged for 2 skips. I normally pay £215 per skip so already far far too expensive. within 9hours of placing the order I emailed confirmation that I wanted to cancel. They said I would have to pay £45+vat for the privalige. its been over 2 weeks and still no refund!

Do not use this company. Paid £161 on credit card for skip. Following day had a phone call to say skip that was due to be delivered had been contaminated by asbestos, if I wanted a skip on the day agreed I would have to pay additional £24 or wait nearly a week. I reluctantly paid. Skip did not arrive when promised so I phoned but was given no explanation. I asked for a full refund and was told I would get one. Have now been waiting 4 weeks for the refund and my credit card company is now trying to get the money back. Totally unprofessional organisation.

I spent a little bit of time checking out prices and delivery dates from various skip hire sites and ended up picking this company due to promising the earliest drop-off. I really don't know why I thought they could get me a skip quicker than all the local companies I rang, but naively, I selected that date, paid my money, booked the time off work and thought a skip would turn up. I was called late afternoon on the day before expected delivery to say the skip allocated to me had unexpected had asbestos put in it and it would now be over a week to get me one - I guess I'll never know how true that is..... Do yourself a favour, find a local place, call & book direct. Don't pay this company to waste your time. Even if the skip turns up, you'll probably have paid more for it anyway! The people in the call centre seem nice and friendly & at least I got a refund fairly quick....but what does that matter when you've planned a big job and your skip doesn't turn up!

Ordered a skip for a set date, and received a confirmation email from them. I then booked time off work, as did my brother and wife, so we could clear my dads house. Had a text from them on the morning the skip was due, stating that it would now be arriving 5 days later! Still haven't had my refund. Will be contacting my credit card company and trading standards. Will never consider this unreliable company again.

We booked a skip with this company as guaranteed a date so we would still be here to help my parents with mobility issues. Guy who took the booking guaranteed it would be here first thing on the Wednesday morning. We rang them to find out where it was to be be told they rang us twice yesterday and because of that wouldn’t be issueing a refund without Charges. After challenging that as we were in all day and we have a answerphone he looked into it and we eventually got a refund but that still doesn’t help us as we have to go back home today and now my parents have A load of rubbish they’ll have to try to load themselves as we live quite far away. NOT HAPPY DO NOT USE!!!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with - do not use these people at any cost. I paid for my skip 7 days ago - I was told it would arrive on Friday - I got a call Thursday night telling me a driver was ill and they could not deliver until Tuesday - it didnt arrive again and after 9 phonecalls 3 of which they just put me on hold, transferred me to someone else without speaking with me or just put the phone down they finally admitted that they hadnt booked with the local skip company and I would not be getting my skip - I asked them to resolve this and get me a skip asap - they then rang me and said they would need another £50!!!!!! unbelievable. The worst company out there - DO NOT USE

First class service.. the skip arrived when promised and was collected early at my request. Will definitely use again.
