At the beginning I was still hoping to receive a standard service despite of all the negative reviews. I believed there must have been a improvement on the service for customers attractions. Surprisingly in my case I completely lost trust on the company after speaking to a assistant on the enquiry line. Her standard of communication skills was very unprofessional and the tone of her words was extremely discouraging and deceptive to appreciate the service.
Made two separate enquiries and given competitive quotes but they can't fulfil them. Nobody phones you back!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME EVEN LOOKING AT THEIR WEBSITE!!
We have been using Reliable Skips for a few months on a job that's out of our usual area. They have always delivered and picked up when they said they would with no trouble A good Reliable service 👏

Avoid these cowboys. Skip was due to be picked up yesterday ( Friday ) and you got it. No one come for it yet they phoned us before and asked if we wanted to keep it till Monday for a extra £50 charge . What a rip off. Clearly wasn't going to pick it up on Friday and tried to con us out of more money . Over priced and contracts out to other companies in the area so you think you are supporting local companies. Never again will we use these rip off guys.
Awful company, booked a skip to turn up on a certain date in the morning, took the money straight away. Skip never showed when I rung they said they could not source one for that day and in my area, which had not been explained on the phone before , But also told me 3 days before it had been booked. It then took 2 months and alot of phone calls for a refund.
Having booked a skip and paid the money upfront was then called to say there was no skip available. Had to call them to retrieve my money they said it would be 14 days to be refunded I explained I needed that money to arrange another skip to be told tough and promptly put the phone down on me. DO NOT USE
Got a skip from this company on Thursday they said it would be picked up on Friday but nobody showed up I’ve been ringing and ringing as to when the skip would be picked up but got no joy it’s been a week on the man’s driveway blocking is access as he is disabled and they told me a load off lies avoid at all cost this disabled man can not even get past the skip and it’s still there a week later disgusting
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Paid a premium rate for a skip to be told they couldn’t deliver it after taking my money. They said the lorry was too big to deliver but going by the measurements on their site it should easily fit. Please use other providers they are extremely money hungry and their customer service is POOR! I’ve had to go through my bank to get a refund as they put the blame on me whilst also causing damage to my neighbours fence.

Phoned and booked a skip as was promised same day delivery so was happy to pay £60 over the going rate skip did not arrive that day and still hasn’t at 12 the following phoned the company and they said they will do there best but might be tomorrow I have hired a mini digger to shift about 15tonnes of soil if this isn’t here today I’m going to have to barrow. My advise is go to the skip provider clearly these people have no influence and are just charging a premium with no expectation of meeting service standards will never use again
Terrible service. I ordered a skip and waited for it - it didn't turn up. Called the next day and was told they didn't know why the skip wasn't delivered and could not tell me when I would receive it. So I cancelled the contract and asked for a refund. I was told it would arrive within 3-4 working days but I got nothing. So I called again and was told 10 days. After 10 days, called again and was fobbed off with various excuses such as "It is another department," "all the managers are in a meeting," "I will email you with information" etc. Decided therefore to give them 24 hours to send my refund on threat of court procedings. Watch this space!
Very poor service on business bin collections,customer care zero,office staff very poor,lack of communication between staff.Once they have signed you up to a contract, they will do what they want to.Please avoid at all costs but then it is up to you.(This is for business bin service only)
I used this website on Wednesday to hire a skip for Friday. On filling in the form it informed me that someone would call. Friday morning I still hadn't received a call or an email and I phoned their customer service number. The lady informed me that the system doesn't make a booking or even go through to an enquiries desk. Since the latest website migration the forms simply take your data and nothing more happens. An absolute waste of my time.

The brand new skip was delivered on time by a very helpful driver. I will definitely use skip hire network and Recycling Lives in the future.
Wish I could give zero stars to Call-a-skip hire in Birmingham…We had to take legal actions due to : The driver who delivered the skip, placed the skip too close to our driveway brick wall, when collected, they totally smashed the wall. We had footages and witness too however they informed us they not taking any responsibilities. We contacted them numerous times regarding compensation with no success, not even an apology and not to mention we had to wait 33 days for collection, not even communicated about reason of delay, we had to keep contacting them for collection. The most disgraceful service I have ever used and they advertising themselves the ???best skip hire company in West Midlands….what a joke…. the drivers are not competent and unable to carry out a risk assessment on delivery. Please not use them, as they not taking any responsibilities for any damage, do not waste your time and money, use companies which has liability insurances please!
This company collected our skip at 05:45am. When picking up the skip they have damaged our iron drive gates, the metal section on the central section is considerably bent the paint is cracked and damaged. The gates were left fully opened so how they managed to damage the gates is beyond us? We noticed the gates were closed afterwards so maybe he shut them to observe the damage? When we phoned to complain, they said the liability was with us? So due to a persons incompetence and obviously being unable to pick up a skip without smashing it into something it is somehow down to us? Avoid if you don't want to risk damage to your property from staff that obviously need training on how to pick up a skip.
123 skip hire are fantastic.They help getting the right size skip for what I need .The staff are all so helpful and friendly. When I phoned them to collect it they did so the next day and the man who picked it up was also friendly and although he was going home he still had time for a chat. I highly recommend them.
I ordered a miniskip and paid for it. I was rung back later to be told that they only had 4 yard skips so paid an extra £60 for the larger skip. I was promised it on the 31st August. I rang several times when it did not appear and was left on hold for 20 minutes and then cut off. The next day I rang and they assured me that it would be with me before 5 p.m. It still did not arrive. So I rang again and was given a load of flannel and told that I would be rung back. I had to ring them when a skip had still not appeared. I was told that they only had 6 yard skips and that I would have to pay extra. When I expressed my displeasure I was told that I could have a refund. They put all the blame for the appalling service on their 'partner' supplier Dyfi Skips. Do not use this company they are terrible.
